Jack Herer VS Trainwreck

Hey guys I'm just about to finish my first grow, 2 of the cuttings were from Jack Herer and 2 were from Trainwreck.
One looks Sativa dominant, whereas the other looks more Indica.
I was just wondering if you guys could post a few pictures or links, or anything? So I can try and distinguish which two are Jack and which two are Trainwreck.

Cheers =D

Jack Herer is a Clean high like a sativa... Trainwreck is heavy stone like indica.. i personally like trainwreck better

Alrighty bro I'll post them soon as I get a spare moment. :)
The short busier indica looking one seems to be finishing its flower faster too as far as I can tell.

Ok here are 2 of the plants. The first two is of one of the taller plants. This was taken a week ago.
The second two are of one of the shorter bushy plants. I took this today, this strain looks like it will be ready in about a week.

Both strains were set to flower same day.

IMO the 3rd and 4th pic's ( the shorter one ) are the Jack Herer, when I grew jack I had 3 pheno's and 1 was very similar to yours and it was my favorite, very fresh smell / taste and a great high, it may look indica but it was very very sativa. Heres the one I had that was similar for comparison

Never grew real TW, just GH version, looks very different than what you have.

if you have ever smelled trainwreck you would know if one of your girls were that strain, Jack does too but TW is very distinctive pinesol citrusy...

hey mate, considering you set these plants to flower the same day, Id be picking the first two pics are Jack, mainly because Jacks heritage contains a Haze cross - so it will/should in my experience have a longer flowering cycle around the 14 week mark for best ripeness - the buds on Jack seem to swell when growing more than rapidly accumulate like on the last two pics, the last 3 or 4 weeks of jack will be when she does her special thing. It definately looks like you have the indica pheno of Jack, Jack is one of my all time favourites to grow! good luck man, happy growing

Haha, see, it's so confusing. Everything I look up contradicts itself, the moment I think I've figured out which plant is which I find different information to suggest otherwise.
xD nightmare. Cheers tho.

ah time will tell man, as i said jack takes a longer time to flower, whereas i understand trainwreck to be along the 8 to 9week mark? Maybe thats the best way to tell whats what?

There is a 50 day Jack pheno, so you can't go by that.

That's weird the Train Wreck I had was almost pure sativa I think it was a 90/10 sativa indica ratio.
Never knew Train Wreck could be a Indica

How do they smell? Jack is very sweet like candy.
All the Jack I've ever had was quite peppery/hazey. Although I'm certain there are sweeter phenotypes based on plants that have descended from the Jack line I suspect they show up more in F2's and such.

i still really want to grow my sannies jack (herer) f7 (f8 now) as it's supposed to be one of the best hearers out there. TGA's jack's cleaner 2 hybrid kicks much ass though and flowers faster. it has more indic a, but isn't too stony and the warm body glow and touchy feely effects from it make it stand out. if you're after a more productive and middy herer relative, extra popular super silver haze (which has won more cannabis cups than any other strain the last time i checked) has the exact same parents as herer, but in a different breeding order with the final cross being to an indic a dominant instead of haze.

any of those strains should satisfy any toker looking to get high unless they're spoiled rotten by pure 24 week hazes.

it's too bad that apollo 11 is pretty much extinct on the seed market as it has a mellow, but trippy high much like super silver haze, but finishes in just 55 days tops! i never understood why EVERYONE didn't start growing that after trying his mom cinderella and liking it, but not so much it's clear headed lack of psychoactivity racy high. i was expecting it to be trippy and not so similar to kali mist if not anywhere near THAT racy.

TH Seeds Wreckage is a brand new Mix of two super hybrids. The world famous original Arcata TrainWreck and our #1 plant the S.A.G.E. We have chosen these two due to their similarities and their differences, they both have beautiful uplifting sativa highs that the true connoisseur can fully appreciate. The growth on the other hand is quite different from o.g. Train Wreck is a spiny plant that can get quite unruly as she flowers giving your room the look of a real trainwreck tops and branches everywhere. The S.A.G.E. with its Afghani bottom grounds the two and gives them incredible explosive growth and a beautiful indica influenced structure that will bring order to the often difficult Train Wreck line. The menthol flavour of the o.g. TW and the spicy sandlewood flavour of the S.A.G.E. produce a flavour packed tongue numbing hit that will leave you wrecked.

it's odd to me that no one seems to be reporting on the cross yet as 5 years or so ago, train wreck was almost as popular as diesels, and a few years prior, SAGE was a popular strain too
