i have new buds growing out of the old buds! is that normal?

idk how to explain but, there are mature nugs on the plant that have clusters of newer growth protruding out from the sides, where the bud sees the most light.

the part of the bud that is not in the direct light of the bulb continues to grow normally, but the opposite side has hairs growing out horizontally, getting wider, opposed to growing the newer hairs at the top of the bud like normal.

That happened to me before too, when I grew out some bagseed. I think it was just the genetics, because I haven't had it happen to me since with any others I've grown.

I have heard here and there that if you feed it to much nitrogen during flowering it could do it. Check those facts because its just people talking. Do a search and you'll find them.

Some of my plants for some reason put on a few new hairs just before maturity. Im no real expert but it didnt seen to effect anything at all. Just harvest no sooner than 50% amber or like I do is wait till the hairs turn brown and retract.
