I wanted to feel the freedom of walking around with a joint today and not worrying about someone ratting me out - then I realized on the island where I live, it's been considered normal for generations.

I just got an email from a friend in Germany - the headline on the cover of one of the biggest newspapers this morning said "Oh Shit - you can now get stoned legally in Canada!!"

Today is nothing special for those who have been growing and smoking for a while without giving a shit before and they don't care now lol my father woke up got stoned and went for breakfast with my mum. Cute. They do that every day.. lol

its a land mark day in some ways...especially with personal freedoms recognized ...
though we have just been taking that freedom since day 1 of our journey... and it lead us to today,living in a country where
cannabis use has become more main stream and or acceptable and is now legal for all intents and purposes.

if there is one thing cannabis does do to the developing mind,,, and this should be promoted rather than discouraged...
it awakens the ability ,for the user, to look beyond just themselves in reality...and to look at reality in a more compassionate and thoughtful way.

To me august 24 2016, was more of an important day, when the Allard trial got med users home growing. Today is a joke and the news media is having a hay day with it.
