here, look at this bed method, easy, and i rent a place as well, house, in the country. I redid the rooms (in the middle of, just harversted first crop!), hanging 3 1000w hps in the main room and 2 more in the smaller second, 4 on 2 ballast flip box. I use beds, one about 6' x 13', and the second 8'x4. i have 50 in the big bed and 24 in the second, using soiless mix and netpots works great, as watering is super easy (automatic) and the plants only use what they want individually, and i only water every 4 days or so.

go big, or go home....;-)

Just got back from Jamaica, & I wish I was still sitting on the beach smoking big blunts & drinking rum all day. Great trip!!! I took the wifey & the 3 older kids & for the 1st time since high school (20 years) I smoked in front of my wife & she actually wanted to smoke with me. I let her hit it a couple times. Great trip!!! Back to reality... My babies are doing wonderful!!! Bad news is the Death Star is a 65 day flowering & the silver pearl is a 50 day, so ill be staggered a little bit, but if that's the worst I have to deal with, I'm ok!!! That meter that checks on the nute level wasn't anything about money, it was a stock issue, & it was not in stock the day I picked up everything, and after getting schedules from pros and then seeing the product I just don't need it. Ok, so on the plants that were started from seeds, I'm not seeing any signs of male or female. I think I don't know what I'm looking for, so that's a problem-no saks or female parts... Here is a pic of the big ones and I see a lot of bud all over all of it, I'm thinking a pound a plant- O'yea!!!

BC, i love you but you do need a ppm meter brother. Your good but not that good. What if you over pour? Or decide to try a new nute line? Or get new calmag? Or just decide to top up rather than totally change over, how much did they eat rather than drink? Ooooooor want to know what your tap waters already at when it comes out? 300 ppm is not uncommon, mines 150, whats yours? And now more bad news, i dont think a lb a plant, i cant see that good from the one picture but id say maybe 10-11 oz?? Cant see it real good though. Also it looks like your lights are hella close to the tops...:( wow im full of happiness today arent I ;) it does look really nice though and im glad your having the success your having already, great job man. I went to jamaica once with food for the poor to build houses. Tourists get to see the beaches, not to many get to see the interior of jamaica though. We built a house for a lady who had aids and six kids and parents all living in one house the size of most of our master bathrooms. Painted a school and playground, and all sorts of good stuff. It was a really great expirience. I love jamaica mon :):):)

The tops of the Death Star are all up in the lights... I'm out of room!!! The buds on that plant are about every inch to inch and a half apart, but I can't find the main "cola?" though... The silver pearl is the short fat plant and it has buds every half inch and then it has one main "cola?" that is the entire middle from top to bottom. It's a beautiful thing. Seed update - OMG!!!! The roots are soooo big now I opened the clone machine and thought my brother put ropes inside the machine. It's a mess under the lid!!! All of the roots have intertwined together, and each "seed/plant" have so many it's crazy!!! I'm ready to transport but have no where to go with them, I still have about 10 days for the pearl and 25 days on the star, DAMN!!!! Other than that all is good in the neighbor hood!!!

Sounds awsome man. Just remember that those days arent set in stone. I hope you have a mini microscope to read your tricombs with. ;) if the roots on in there are stuck together you can cut a few of them delicatly if you have to. Im surprised that you havent had to net them up yet cause theyre getting heavy?? You got some bud close ups of the two different ladies? Id like to see just how close they are :):):)

Well, lets see... Silver pearl has been harvested. I did some trimming yesterday, almost got it all the way done. So not what I expected off the 4 plants, haven't weighed it yet, but just from eyeballing it and after it dries out probably working with 1-1.5lbs. The Death Star got to big and heavy and fell over and they still have about a week to 2 weeks to go, so I lassoed them up literally and hoping for the best... Ill take some pics tonight when I go over, but the feeling of disappointment has began to set in!!!!

I weigh mine after i chop it down. They usually dry to a quarter of the weight. As far as the deathstar falling over goes if youd have been on here more wed have told you that a net is the way to go by now. When your running big plants in hydro you need to support them and spread out the canopy so the lights can get to the interior. Are you making hash from the trim? With hydro youll get the best hash ever, or edibles if you want. I dont know how your drying or curing but thats a place where you can screw up too. If you dont let them hang long enough you can have smell problems. Were here to help bro but we cant do anything with out updates. Ive had like 7 people tell me that without my help theyd never even make it to harvest. Right now you should have some mothers going if you want to do better next time. If you dont then you shoulda been talkin to us more. Here, check out this thread. This is how you will make the most of the space your working with. Its not that long so itll be a quick read but if you want to make it big this is how to do it.https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/650308-11-000watt-e-f-w-11.html
also im sure you are unhappy with several parts of your grow. Let us know what your not happy with and we can help you trouble shoot everything that you dont like. I hope the DS turns out alright for ya, whatever you do dont chop it early. It will taste like hay and be gross. I pulled 5g off of two plants on my first harvest. Ya, 2 plants with a 600 over each. You should be doing way better right now, we can help.

Thanks Ninja!!! Ok, what I don't like.... Everything was going great, well beside the DS growing into the lights. I also started the seeds to early on the carmelisious & master kush, but other than that it was a lot smoother than I thought.... 1) too high... You mentioned nets, this time I'm going to for sure use some sort of canopy, something like a scrog, but not if that makes sense. The SP was perfect size, just not enough yield. I did everything right on, well except the nute measurer, if I had one I think I was so dead in with my feedings it wouldn't helped or hurt it. Anyways those DS just kept growing, and growing... It's was crazy!!! I didn't panic and yank them out when I came in 1 night and 3 of the 4 were tipped over. They were sooo big all I could do was lasso them up, literally!!! They are still getting water regularly and lights 12/12, but like I said they are lassoed so I don't know how much light the middle is getting... 2) starting the seeds to early... Damn!!! I've had these new ones in veg for like 21-30 days!!! They are for sure healthy, but they already are huge!!! As soon as I pulled the SP I cleaned the trays and kept it moving!!! I do have some mothers 1 of each in the cloning room, and still have 5 more ready to go as soon as I pull the DS. I clipped all the fan leaves and threw them away. Then all the smaller leaves w/sugar on them I kept and will be making something real nice. The one thing I remember reading was when your ready to pull wait a week & that drying & curing were the most important things in this process. So I'm hang drying now, and will for the next couple days, then move to the jars...

Well if its possible to flip the other ones that got seeded early do it. Or take the advice of dr hank and start a sog if you can. More plants equals more production. You can space em close and still pull one - two zips and forget about veg time. You could keep the best thing that you have and one more mothered out, keep two of each if you have to to fill the grid and take twice as many clones as you need for each tray and keep the best ones. I mean your veg room has lotsa space right? You know what they do now after so many days of veg so you can turn them earlier if needed. Theres a couple things you learned. One is that you cant have the lights and the plants touching. Is it possible to do the run and not hit them? If not forget about it. Dont get yourself into a problem situation knowing it will be or youll regret it. Clone out huge, wait 25 more days and flip em all if that makes sence. Otherwise net out right away, train them with the net, four weeks in run another net to handle the stretch and extra weight on the top and run it out. Calculate the math on both scenarios and take the best option for you.
Another option is to trim back the ones that you have that you think are too big on the sides and lower branches before you flip to flower, (with a couple days recovery time) and then flower. Youll still have a great root system that will put whatevers on the top to good use weight wise but youll have lower less bushy plants. If you plan on topping and trimming you should do it earlier than later so they can recover. It works so you can save space. Just take the lowest branches and take them down a couple nodes. The updates have been slow so its hard to envision whats the scenario is presently.
Oh and its best to leave the leaves if you can. They move transformed food energy to the buds and thats an important function. For your intended purpose small plants with lots of space would be the best. Research sog hard and youll get those g/watt numbers your looking for with less veg time and less headaches of the monsters.
A humidifier in your drying room with a small RH meter running 65% RH will let you dry for the optimal 6-9 days to give you a better flavor if you dont already have that going theyll probly dry in twoish days. Oh and how about the smoke report lol. Id love to hear about the flavs that they have :):):)

thats funny man, i pulled 3 gs off of two plants my first grow under a 400w :) they were bag seed i vegged under the hps too used plain topsoil when it dryed up it was rock hard so the roots were having a hard time i imagine the smoke was harsh it was crap not even worthy of hash the high only lasted 30 mins

second grow i posted updates as much as possible and thanks to the people of riu i maganged to pull 2oz give or take off each plant under a couple hundred watts of cfls :)

idk what i would of done without them and to this day i do whatever i can to help fellow growers

Congratz, many lessons learned it seems. Have you had a sample? Smell/taste/potency?

looks like you did a great job drying on those pearls, they look nice and dense. Thats awsome. I noticed that the new moms are in hydro i believe. You dont have to do it that way if you dont want. Dirt can be easier to deal with sometimes but if you like it whatever. Looks like your just about to fall into your groove :) betcha learned alot over that grow huh? Cant wait to see how DS performs ;) good times brother, i hope lifes been good to ya over the last while :):):)
