it took awhile but on home stretch.

Its ben a long trechorous road, but enjoy every minute i did. Im currently on day 35 in flowering and have EXCELLENT pistil development as well as a little sugary trichromes directly around those buds. I know optimal harvest times differ from person to person but im looking for a narco state of mind. I want this shat to put me on my arse. When will these pistils and what im assuming are buds beneath going to become recognizable?

These look great , and would say you are maybe half way there. It is not uncommon to flower 10 weeks or longer. If you are looking for a couch lock , shoot for a longer ( slightly ) flowering stage. I have chopped at week 10/13 on some strains. After hitting week 8 , start watching triches. For me , if I'm hitting 60/40 milky triches , I start 2 week flush. I bring PPM to around 500 , so plant can start to " draw " from its reserve.

Another trick : is to change your light schedule to 11/13 or 10/14 ..... This makes your plant think that the nights are getting longer , thus bloom heavier. This works no matter what you hear.

Now this last tip ( will get other naysayers to chime in ) but I throw them into 48 hours of dark once I see triches are at my liking ( either all milky or ambers are starting to become more noticeable ).

Here is why ( I put in darkness ) :
By having plant start to condition down without its normal light that it expects , I CAN CHOP ANYTIME DURING DAY.

NO MORE CHOPPING AT THE CRACK OF DAWN BEFORE LIGHTS KICK IN.

ITS A NO BRAINER MOVE.

I'd say within two weeks you will see nice buds forming and probably 4-6 more weeks of flowering, at least.

Don't worry about scoping trichromes and flushing and all that. Just don't overfeed the plant and cut back down the nutes about a week before she's done. The pistils will recede into their calyx and the buds will look fat and swollen. When this happens over about 90% of the plant, she is done. The high is mostly strain dependent, unless you chop too early, then you won't get (as) high. Some people misinterpret this to mean less couch lock or whatever, but they don't know what they're talking about.

Thank you kindly. I was expecting an answer like that, but hearing it from a seasoned veteran calms the nerves. Before this ive tried growing before but for one reason or another never got to flower. So when i started seeing all those pistils and esspecially trichromes i was like a kid in a candy shop.

Another question tho. One of my girls bad lots of yellowing in lower fan leaves causing them to die. Most likely due to a lack of N. So next watering i gave 1/4 grow nutes and 1/4 bloom nutes. And decided i may as well ppm run off. It went in around 450 but came out around 950. I watered until the run off was around 550. What could have caused this? Thanks in advance.
