It is NOT just a plant

I came to understand something about myself this afternoon. See, I'm a patio grower in Los Angeles...not out in the sticks, right in Light Pollution central. So I try to rig some cover at night for my flowering plants, right? Smart, good growing strategy...Well, I have this beautiful Sativa that is blooming now (her buds just need to get a little tighter and the hairs...just a few more dark ones, ya know?

Well, while setting up the evening shade, my stoney ass dropped a big cabinet door on my baby, smushing her down and completely breaking off one of her arms...(a sticky, juicy arm) and pushed her down to one side.
Please hear my advice that I just recently decided to emphasize... I know this sounds silly, because I thought it was silly when I first heard it, but don't take care of your plants while you're freakishly stoned. A little buzz to enjoy the work, but...it isn't just a plant to me. I mean, ultimately it is, but when you grow a plant, especially a stativa that gets all big and thick, that you've been raising for four months, and then you watch, in slo-mo, a big oak door slam down on her...it's more than just a plant. I was horrified at the sight. Perhaps one day when I am a grow master and have many plants (I currently have 6, but only one is flowering), losing a plant that I've been taking care of all summer won't be a big deal, but for now, my noobie ass is pretty shaken up.
I guess my point is that I should have been more careful, but it was a strange experience to see that plant get smashed. All that beautiful pot...
Not sure what other point there is to this other than my theraputic writing about being all distraught about my plant. Poor girl...any good mojo vibes you want to send our way, please. If you want to tell a horror story about seeing your babies die or be destroyed, I'm here for ya. Let's start a support group for grieving stoners and their lost plants. We gotta stick together.

Her name was Sour Diesel, Her name was Sour Diesel...

I did straighten her out and she is standing ummmm, kinda straight now, with no breaks in the main stem. If your a praying person, give us some love, if you would.
