I recently planted the germinated seeds and they were under GE plant lights. and only one plant was thriving. I changed over to compact floros. 3 bulbs/180 watts total. Things have only gotten worst. The plant that was doing well is still doing well but the others have drooped completly on the soil and are no longer green and vibrant while other still have the seed caps on them and have not opened up yet. This is day number 3. They are all from random bag seed so maybe they are just no good but i thought if they germinated as fast as they did that they were fine. Maybe i should just scap the others and just focus on the one that is doing well. How much in weight will an average plant yield.?

It is just day 3 so give them a chance to do their thing. Soil in pics 2 and 3 looks awfully dry. How close are your lights?

they are as close as they can be without touching the plants... I was told the closer the better with cfl's and i was also told to not mist and keep the top layer of soiler so damp becuase it tends to make the roots stay up instead of going down seraching for water.

yea, but even cfls give off some heat. i have a 26 watt bulb that drys out my soil like every few hours.
also your seedlings are still young, and they dont need too intense of light yet. move the light away a few inches....this will make your baby stretch for the light, and make him bigger. once she gets older, then you want the light close
