Hey all need some serious help here... 21 days into veg and my Jock Horror autofem isnt looking good. Been trying to fix this for the last week...finally have to post in here to see if she can be saved... Im frustrated that I cant just figure out whats wrong...brown spots...some yellowing...drooping... Ph issues?? Deficiency??20160522_094330.jpg 20160522_094417.jpg

Initially, I thought I was dealing with nitrogen deficiency... Then realized it was most likely calmag, as i found out i was underdosing due to coco sucking up calcium. Ive been fluctuating the water ph frm 6.2-6.7... feeding with a 1/3 dose of GH nutes...any ideas ?

Hi Mr.Hush,
A nitrogen deficiency would present itself in lower leaves first. If there is too little N the plant will feed of those low leaves. That's not your issue here. My opinion is it could be nute burn but that's usually is seen in the tips and although you have some tip necrosis you also have others which look fine while the sides of the leaf are suffering. Its probably potassium deficiency, theres some yellowing between leaf margins. Likely the Ph your running is too high, you should be using around 5.8ph. So that could be causing multiple problems and locking out the K., Mix your next feed with a lower ph. Maybe worth a flush with even lower around 5.4ph and then a feed with 5.8 Ph. That may help balance your coco back out and stop this getting worse.

Good luck

Edit, I'm not experienced with Autos, maybe you should up your nutes to more than 1/3. But maybe that's what you do with Autos? If it were a reg fem seed I would say 21 days in to veg you should use full strength to whatever the manufacturer states.

Just rechecked the chart. Coco comes under hydro btw.

Look at the bottom chart at the Ph levels you have been using

Twenty one days into veg is that a reveg from a flowered plant? What else is in the medium besides coco? Looks like some perlite is that mulch on top?

What are your daily high and low temperatures?

6.2-6.7 is too high for coco, it prefers a pH of 5.8 6.2...

The leaves are definitely green enough I wouldn't feed it anything for a while.

Check your PPM. Flush with a MILD feed that's been watered down. Try keeping your PH at 5.7 you'll be surprised. After you flush let her be for a day or two. (Don't feed)
