Isopropyl Alcohol

Can u use this to clean ur smoking utensils. I hate getting messy and I have several units in need of a good reaming. Plus I would like to keep it. My buddies and I like to make big huge resin balls with weed and smoke em. Dont hate, just another way to enjoy my medicine. Also, can u use some cheap vodka? Could use some ideas.

yes, iso works great to clean smoking utensils ime... try and get the highest % of iso that you can find.. you should be able to find i think it's the 93% if you look around...

you sure can , i dont though i try to go for more natural cleaners, just cause we use stuff like this inthe salon to clean things and take off fake nails so LOL

i guess i didnt read the actual thread do not use isopropyl alcohol you could kill yourself it will get into the resin, and you will die. ( i know i work with this stuff all day long)

Wow, I've never heard that! I've been using 90+ percent isopropyl alcohol to clean my scissors, pipes, grinders, and whatever gets sticky with resin. Do you mean I'm gonna die??

I isn't THAT toxic. After all, it's approved for massages and whatnot.
And Kitty Dukakis swore by its qualities as a beverage.
The isopropyl (typical drug store strength is 91%; don't get the 70% will do the job, but you'll need to wait a good long time for all the solvent to evaporate. Vodka is unsuitable because it has too much water and residue upon evaporation.

if he ingests it right after he will be putting toxins in his body , its still not safe, until a while after disinfection

I think she was saying more if you're smoking the resin after you've cleaned them out.

In which case, yes OP you can use iso to clean your pipes and smoke it afterwards. Make sure to inhale and hold it in for as long as you can though. If you pass out it's a good thing, just a nice buzz from that potent ''medicine''.

Don't listen to her op, smoke it as quickly as possible. The flavors will escape otherwise. Resin is flavorful, potent medicine I hear.

i always try to rinse my bong out a few extra times after i clean it with alcohol. i will try letting it sit a little bit next time. problem is i always clean it in the morning.. so i get anxious to get that bong hit as soon as she shines haha

As far as smoking resin goes fuck that all together. But I used it to clean my bong all the time. Then I just run hot water through it and stick my nose in the tube. Still smells like alcohol, give it another rinse.

Chosen, ur just plain and simply an asshole. Well, thank god I'm not as old as you think I am. I am a 42 year old carpenter. Hey I said we like to mix it up with weed. I am talking about a lot of resin. Then we put it in a huge Hooka bong and rip it for hours. Hate me, hate ur mother, beat ur sister, wat ever makes u feel better Chosen. Anyways I am done. Strained most of the alcohol off, then burned the rest, and after a couple of hours in the sun it is ready to smoke. By the way all u dumbass', it's mixed with purified water. DUH. I have weed just havin fun.

For larger pipes and bongs add coarse salt and it will clean easier. Salt helps scrub the rough spots and doesn't dissolve (very quickly?) in the alcohol.
