Could I get some help making the best oil possible with iso? So far ive been doing it like this...put a bottle of iso in the freezer over night, along with my busted buds in a glass jar. The next day when everything is nice and cold I dump iso into the jar untill its about a 1/2" over the weed. I let it sit and shake lightly for max 1 min. Then dump through a coffee filter onto a plate, then let evaporate for 1-2 days untill all iso is gone, then scrape up and enjoy.

Any ideas to make it better?

Actually, I like the way you make your ISO Hash better than the boiling and cooking methods. Are you satified with the end results the way you make ISO? What I'm getting at, is it potent?

I take 4 oz of prime bud and snip of all the stems, drop it in a large jar and pour the highest proof alcohol I can buy ( Spring Creek/ 85% 170 proof/ FLAMMABLE) and then do a morning and night shake, for 30 days. I then filter out material and pour the liquid into a glass pan, turn on exhaust fan and shut off the lights. I come back in a few hours and there I have nothing but a nice tar. I then take olive oil that is THC infused from the bud leafs and mix a little in with goo to make it easier to work with. We make capsules that will stone you for hours off one.

Wow, 30 days of morning and night shakes? Still, I prefer this over using fire or heat.

We did this method with 1 oz and then made capsules and POW~ Great stuff.
I go 30 days, but some only go 2 weeks. I want to make sure all the thc is stripped free of the material.

sounds like a sound method, i just get lazy and dump grounded up bud/trim in a mason jar, i shake for 15 sec like a maniac then strain through a cheese cloth. I set the pyrex bowl outside with a fan blowing over it and its evaporates over night, then I scrape and enjoy.

nice! thats a good idea using the pills. the taste of the oil doesnt matter

take a 2" pvc pipe put end caps on one side drill a hole in it, stuff the pvc with trimming or bud if you wish put a cap on the other end then empty a medium sized butane canister and empty in pvc cannister. Put a dish below the pvc pipe with the hole in the cap and let it sit. The butance will catch all the resin glands and flow out the hole onto the dish, the butane will evaporate quickly leaving a nice hash oil on the dish. Enjoy

For the alcohol method , I prefer everclear, but any alcohol 80 proof or above will work. put trimmings or bud chopped into a mason jar with a lid. pour the alcohol into mason jar just until it covers the plant material. replace lid tightly. I like for it to sit 30 days, shaking it everyday, to be sure all glands are removed from the plant matter and dissolved into the alcohol. What a shot I tell ya!

In deed capsules are great. When mixed with olive oil infused thc (from bud leaves) it makes a great medicine for everything topical i.e. muscle pain, muscle twitches, back pain, headaches, cramps, etc etc etc~

People, don't ever use PVC while making BHO. PVC is known as the "poison plastic" for a reason. If your going to make bho you should buy one of the machines on the market if not only use pyrex or stainless steel, anything else is just stupid. Its funny though 95% of the info for bho making says to use PVC or copper, idiots.

Actually many people still use pvc. Maybe not for large amounts but for personal use it is fine as long as you are in a well vented area or outside. "Idiots huh" buy a machine to do the same thing I have done for years. You probably use cfl or led to grow your big room. You work on your popcorn buds, while i tend to my massive topped colas grown in a perfect SOG, with a canopy you only wish you were educated enough to develop yourself.

Well bud, just because you've been doing it for years doesn't make it right. Do yourself a favor and google PVC poison plastic, there is hella info on it. PVC is some nasty ass shit. The butane strips said chemicals into that nice bho you've been smoking for years. If after reading up on it and you decide you don't care fine but do everyone a favor and keep ur bs to yourself.

As for popcorn buds doush, I haven't posted photos in awhile but you can look at photos of my popcorn on my first posts. Funny how I give you the correct way to make bho with facts on why not to use it but you assume im the bubblegummer. Your iq drips off your posts. Might be a little to late for the pvc switch for yourself, you already seem a little soupy.

I cannot respond to that, i am not sure what you are saying is true or not, but it has been made like that for years. My apologizes if you are correct. If it is so harmful then why do so many people still use that method? I havent made it in years, so things may change. I was not spilling BS I was stating what i believed to be true. If I talk all this BS then why do I average 3.0oz per plant in a 64 plant SOG, with a 2 month turnover. That equals 6lbs a month average. I guess my BS is working well for me.

I did google it and you are correct, there are safer materials to use for making. For that I stand corrected, but I was just trying to help. NO one use PVC, is that better. I guess I learned something new today! I am man enough to admit when I am wrong. But like I said it has been years since making any, back then pvc is what everyone was using and how i was taught.

Dude just google it, growing and making bho are two different things. In Germany, everybody was for Hitler and the extermination of jews, doesn't make it right. I think people use PVC because its cheap, easily available, and people don't know its a poisonious plastic. I find it odd you'd assume growing good makes you a bho expert and my correct knowledge on bho makes me a closet grower. ????

I use denatured alcohol. It is 99% alcohol, and makes for a cleaner evap.(better taste). You can find it in any paint section of say home depot, or Wal-mart, and it is cheap by the gallon! (I paid just under $16 for a gallon at Home Depot)
Acetone works too, but it isn't as tasty as the denatured alcohol, but better than that 70-80% rubbing alcohol you buy in stores.

I wasen't trying to sound like an expert. hash oil is something i dont usually do. I usually just make bubble hash. Being a great grower usually goes hand and hand with all the other things the plant can be used for. Like I said I learned something new today which is great, because usually I am trying to fix others growing issues. It is nice to be corrected every now and again. Just because I said your popcorn buds doesn't make you a closet grower. Trust me I have seen people get .25 a plant under 1K hps so i was not assuming that one bit. Good luck on your future endeavors.
