Isn't it unusual for a plant to stretch like this under just moderate lighting?

My first grow. This is an indoor plant grown with just 10 26W Cfl's. It was flowered at just under 12" and is now 4' tall. Is that normaly what happens if you don't top it when it's young?

its probly cus ur lights wernt close enough, an when flowering ist started ur plant doubles in size.

if ur hieght is still a prob, just tie down the top of ur plant in a sort of ark, and lower ur lights

yeah man i dont know how were your cfls positioned? i have 4 and im flowering too stop by and check it out when u got time. and AWESOME PLANT!!!!!

you proberbly had your cfl,s too far away but remember when you change to 12/12 the plant will wlays double or even triple in height

Thanks everyone! I definitely will top it next time and LST the hell out of it. It's going to produce alot of bud, but we'll see if it's airy bud or not.

thats just part of the flowering process imho, plant doubles or triples in height
