Is week 1 of flower a bad time to throw down some cover crop seeds?

I've still got at least another 60 days or so left of flower in my 7 gallon bags...Haven't used any sort of covercrop yet, but I just got ahold of some crimson clover seeds. If I'm being completely honest, the vanity in me really just wants final pictures of my flowered plants with a pretty layer of crimson clover on top, lol. I'm sure this is something I should have done earlier in the plants life but I just got ahold of the clover seed. Any reason I should not use it?

it's probably gonna get shaded out. you will likely have some survivors, but its best to put one down when the plant is small and the crop will get light energy.
