[FONT=arial, helvetica][SIZE=-1]What do you guys recon about this?
If I add a bubbler do I get a bubble head stamp?

Also im growing in a draw so have limited height I have ~800mm internal height from the bottom draw to the top.

Was planning on getting a 105W CFL and running it on 24/0 for awhile then switching to 12/12.
But after reading around I think I will have to switch to 12/12 quickly 2-4weeks?

So should I get a 250W HPS instead and run it on 12/12 from the start ?

Germing speed queens currently.

Anyway this is the premade setup from the local store the price is decent they arent ripping me off just cause im too lazy to assemble everything which is nice :)

"The S Quad hydroponic system is perfect for the grower that wants to grow one large plant per hydropnic system, It is self supporting which means that water from the base reservoir is pumped up to the plant above it via the plumbing supplied and then the nutrient solution saturates the growing medium and simply falls back into the reservoir underneath. Several of these systems can be used under a single light."

Comes with:
1 x 30 Litre Bin
1x 42 Litre Bin & Lid
1 x Water Pump (450L/hr)
1 x Horseshoe & Plumbing
4 x 8mm Top Hat Grommets
2 x Stainless Steel Support Bars
1 x Pot Sox - Bin Liner

i use cfl's for veg....then hps for flower. i use 6 gal buckets. 1 for each plant. seems simpler than all this stuff. good luck. K.I.S.S. keep it simple stoner

Looks like a cool set up, just hope with only one plant that it turns out to be female !! Other than that it looks good ! Check out some of Rosemans links he can show you how to make your own bubble system pretty cheap ! Maybe use a lot of what you now have , just a thought so you can start at least 5 or 6 plants...

Gallons argh whats wrong with using liters 1L = 1kg such a lovely equation.
But if I add a bubbler does this give me a bubbleponics badge?

I recon if I take the support bars out to lower the height this could be ideal otherwise I will make my own DWC system.

Lighting is such a complicated issue iv read alot but are still really confused

The CFL I would be using is a [FONT=arial, helvetica][SIZE=-1]125w 2700k GES Florescent Lamp and I all ready have a 1ft fluro vege tube setup.
(Growing two plants hopefully)

The other option is a single 250W HPS, I dont think I can go any larger without adding ventilation as the draws ~900*600*450mm
personally I have no idea how much heat these bad boys put out
I could add vents I have a old computer fan and digital thermonitor just need to wire it up to a 12V charger.

The bubblehead logo can be downloaded than uploaded to your "avatar" space. There are directions here someplace to tell you how. check with Rosemans posts... search for bubblehead logo or something simular.. good luck Bic

Thanks for the logo help but was a little more concerned with the actual grow :)

Ok had a brain wave and I recon I will run a DWC system using wickpots mounted in polystyrene floating on my res

still complicating things....kiss

O god ok I had a long chat with the staff at the local hydro store and they set me right going back tomorrow to get my water pump setup.

One thing im not sure about and cant really find a answer for is what is the best size for a res

I brought a 50L black plastic containair with lid its bloody perfect and fits great but im wondering if I should use a smaller container inside it, though obviously I wont have to fill it up to the top or anything with the waterpump feeding the wickpots.
