Sorta looks so J. You know that I'm not the most experienced.

How big is that bud? You could clip it and put it in a little water and throw it in the window and see if it opens up and drops pollen. That wouldn't help the rest of the plant though but it would ease your curiousty.

get it away from the others asap! like right this second. those bananas look pretty much fully mature to me when i zoom in real close. do you think its a stress induced hermie or a genetic hermie?

I hacked her...well, "it" down,. Sucks but not worth sacrificing all this for nothing.

This was NOT my True Blueberry, she is looking great however. Smells so good my mouth literally waters. And the resin production is already insane.

This was a Dj Short's Flo, grown from seed. I honestly think it was genetic, atleast I really hope so. The plant was very healthy, nice sticky, green, juicy buds but some of them (mainly on one branch) had these sticking out of them. I can't see how this could be stress related, conditions are fine. But this plant was the one closest to the tent's zipper, which may have let a bit of light through? Highly unlikely because I make it a point to keep the outside lights off just as en extra precaution, I think. Well, hopefully everything is okay with the others, I'm gonna examine them closer when the lights come on. I'm surprised I noticed this and I hope that I didn't make a mistake. They are super tiny..you can see my finger lines in the picture.

ended up having to hack all the Flo plants with Jeos. They all had bananas shootin out of random buds here and there. Just chalk it up to bad genetics i suppose, seeing as the other two plants, a True BB and Blue Cheese are both lookin great.

Whoa buddy, that suck I just acctually read the rest of your posts, I'm sorry. Flo is one of my favorites to grow. Mine was bag seed as well, all 8 were female. Early in flowers I had a few balls show up on like 3 of them which I promptly cut off. Then, nothing but amazing chrons. Next time watch out for the balls, check daily. Flo is an amazon strain, and done organically it's phenominal.

yah, i agree, if it was only a few nanners here and there, no need to cut the whole plant down, simply pluck them as you see them.. but if they're all over the plant, it's simply better to cut it as you may over look one and end up getting seeded...

thanks guys, we didn't want to take any chances. i wouldn't mind trying flo again in the future, it is a great plant. really upsetting to have to sacrifice all this medicine but what can ya do..i really think it was genetics, but all of them? seems unlikely but who knows.

indeed, i have experimented with keeping genetic hermies and just picking off the bananas with most of them(removing them from the normal flowering girls area if im not sure i can find and pick off any bananas before they could do any harm) and some of them end up being easily manageable and ive even seen them stop making them on its own completely but in this case the odd of managing them and actually getting all of them and/or it stopping on its own were pretty low based on the way it looks compared to what ive seen in trying to keep them as experiments to see if i can imo. honestly i probably would not of killed it yet and taken it somewhere else if possible still though.
