Is this true?

I have a book that tells me the longer the dark peroid during maturing, the quicker you can get your plants to mature. Not a huge difference, but because they process the sugars during the dark period when they are blooming, you can get them to mature slightly quicker. Is this true?

Does the book claim that Marijuana will mature faster, or just general fruit/flowering plants?

I would imagine theres a lot of other plants that may benefit from a longer dark period because there are lots of places on earth were its dark longer and full of natural growth, but as far as marijuana, as far as I know 12/12 is the ideal condition for flowering.

Ive heard 11/13 or 10/14 would speed up the flowering process, but you wont have as larger as yield. Go for it?!

I have heard this before too, might be a myth or might be true.
Probably one of those things you have to do a side x side comparison to prove and prove difference in yield too.
