Is this the sign of a FEMALE?

One of my two plants has a really skunky scent, the other one does not at all. I have had them flowering for a week now, is this a sign of a female? The skunky one is tiny compared to the other one and the root system is about 1/10 the size of my big one.... I hope this is not a sign! I have never heard of it before, if not I will just wait for pistils.....

yeah that doesn't mean squat, normally you'll find you can weed out distinguished males before females..

When you see a male you'll know it.. Females you get kind of iffy on if you haven't had much experience..

give this a look.

Thanks bot, you are right, I knew when I had a male. It turns out one was male and the other one wouldn't flower in 2 weeks and 3 days, in fact it stopped growing completely, maybe some light was leaking in, but it was right next to the other plant that had shown sex in 9 days. I ended up turning that plant into clones after a few days of 18-6, and the clones are just starting to root today. Hopefully I didn't waiste my time with this one but I couldn't kill it completely off not knowing.. I will let u know. The skunky smelling one is the one that I cloned, the other was male.

I know, and thanks for your concern. The plant was fucked so I figured I would practice my cloning skills. I just lost all my plants top root rot so I'm done with all this for a while, thanks for all the help everyone!
