theres a room at my place with the water heater and about 6 long 3 wide 9 tall

the room is basically the size of your average walk in closet.

my question is, if I cant cut a hole in the wall to bring air into the room can it still be used with enough air circulation

and as long as i sterilize it and such will there be a worry of mold from the water tank being in there?

Can anyone answer my question? the room itself has no air vents and as it is an apartment i cant cut holes in the wall but as long as the box in there has input/output fans should it be fine? the temperature stays nice around 25 c but there is no fresh air does circulating it in the room fix this?

If you dont grow very many plants just by opening the door twice a day and letting fresh air in you should be fine i wouldnt see any problem in it what kinda lights are you going to be using

If you have the ability, build a small thin box (like a thin vacuum head) that will suck air in from the space between the bottom of the door and the floor. This will allow the air to get in there without you having to open the door as often.

As long as your humidity is around 40/50/60% you should be good, temps need to be between 70 and 85. CFLs will raise your heat if you use them in a small enclosed area (I can speak from experience on this one) but if the room is big enough, they may only raise it a couple of degrees.

You should be good with the water heater as long as it doesn't leak. Newer ones are sealed pretty tight and seem to have no noticeable effect on the humidity in the room. If insulated correctly, they only adjust the area temp by about 1 or 2 degrees.

alright thanks guys this room will be much better than a random box sticking out the end of the closet and buzzing when the inlaws come over this weekend
