Is this right?

I'm on my second grow and now I am really unsure about the status of this plant. I have been keeping the ph at 5.8 and the ppm no more than 1200ppm. Check out the leaves they look sick and I think the plant is dying. Any suggestions?

Looks like you have a severe case of spider mites. You must rid of them fast. Too make sure that is the problem, take a yellow spotted leaf and look under it and see if anything moves. Also look for webbing.

I'm using tap water, and the nutes are botanicare CNS17 bloom, I have also been giving them Sweet through out the grow and with the last res change I used the Heavy Weight instead of Sweet, this morning I added a little CalMag. I added the calmag cause of the yellowing will swap out the res on Sunday.

As fast as possible. I use AZATROL and I stick with it 100%. Google it and see why it works. Best stuff I ever used. There are also bombs (pyrethiums) but you need to set them off every 3 days x3. Azatrol spray every 3 days x3 but alot cheaper and a little bottle will last a long long time.

At first, I too thought it was spider mites. However, after looking through your pics very closely, I see no webbing. I also noticed that the brown starts on the outside. So, I think you have a nute lockout or ph problem. I would flush, (preferably with sledge hammer or something similar) and when you feed, give them some cal/mag or Epsom salt (just a little).

Flip the leaves upside down where there is damage, if there are little bugs then you have spider mites. If not then I think its a deficiency as PeaceFarmer notes and yes the necrosis is only on the non green parts of the plants. You could just use plain water to flush as well.

Thats the thing I never see any webbing or spidermites. This whole time I may have seen one insect in there and I killed it.

Changed out the my reservoirs today. The big plant that I posted pics of I only put in Hygrozyme, SM-90, CAL-MAG, and Sweet. the other 2 res got a full nute swap including SM-90 and Hygrozyme. Last change out I used Heavy Weight instead of Sweet. Heavy Weight is just Molasses. Does anyone else use Molasses in HYDROPONICS? I have heard of people using it in SOIL. Also I'm thinking about buying some seeds online, any suggestions on where to buy and which strains?
