Is this plant male or female?

Im having a hard time deciding if this plant is male or female, its kinda hard to see in the picture but does anyone have an idea? i think its a male plant, not sure though.

Those are called stipules , both male and female plants have em

Here is a pic for you to go by so you will know what it is when its time

too early to tell but unless you beef up your lighting it will hardly matter that thing looks pretty stretched from lack of light.
