Is this normal??

I need a little guidance folks...I’m not sure if my plants are doing ok or if they are growing too slow, or too short, or what.
I have 2 Super Skunk Autos, in 3 gal fabric pots, 100% Foxfarm Ocean Forest, under a single HLG 320XL LED at full power and around 22-24” above the tops. They’re in a 2x6 closet, ceiling is 8ft. Light cycle is 18/6.
Also have a 6” exhaust above the light venting into the attic, and a small fan circulating the air a bit.
My temps and RH have bounced up and down a good bit, but have mostly stayed in the mid 70s F and humidity around 55.
I started in small cups and transplanted 13 days after sprout. They didn’t appear to stress out from the move.
I was very paranoid over watering too much, so I’ve let the soil get very dry before watering. After transplant I only watered around the base, the next time I watered from the base to the edge until I saw a little runoff....but the soil around the edges and inward was bone dry.
Id like to low stress train and tie off the top but they are so short and stocky I’m afraid to do anything right now.
The pics are from yesterday which was day 18 after sprout and before I watered thoroughly.
The soil should have 3-4 weeks of nutes, so I haven’t given anything but distilled water.
Would someone, anyone, please chime in and help an old head out??
The strain is supposed to be a shorter variety, but they are only like 4-5” right now.
What would you do if these were yours?? Thank u to the replies....I was thinking about raising the light a few inches.
Also, I had a nute question.....my soil is supposed to have about 4 weeks of nutes.....so the soil right around the center is almost 3 weeks old, but the soil outside of the transplanted stuff is only a week old. I would hope the roots would find the new soil and nutrients within. When should I start a dose of veg nutes??
Also, any advice on a simple regiment product??
My thinking is to run a small portion of veg nutes until a couple weeks into flowering, then only flowering until the end flush.
Whatta ya think??

I wouldn’t feed them till flower especially after topping off soil
You can’t make em grow faster but you can burn em up adding nutrients when none are needed

Ok one last question for now....I have my light on full power, it’s a HLG 320XL LED......someone told me to run that light on 50-70% intensity for the full Veg.....would u turn it down?? Could the amount of light cause such short bushy plants???

I do see just a bit of light bleaching.. You can either turn it down a bit or raise it..
The plant structure is in the genetics.. You've really got a good start, keep it going!

Thanks man....I raised it up about 4”, and turned the power down to approx 80%....there is no way to measure the adjustments. I just wanna get some decent nose spacing before it starts to flower.

If treated right most autos can go about 2 months without food. Using a 3gallon may shorten that time. I use 5 gallons they go 2 months. But I'll also start in starter pots for about 3 1/2 weeks.

Personally I'll also let them show me a deficiency before I top dress and brew a tea to wash it in with. It's slow release so one plant fades they all get fed.

Sorry node spacing...not nose. Although some distance for nose stimulation is always a priority. I enjoy smelling it as much as anything. Believe it or not, I haven’t smoked in many many years...but it’s now legal in my state and always said I would love to grow more than anything if it ever became legal....so here we are.

So I raised the light and lowered the intensity.....the plants instantly responded and made a little jump.
I made an effort at LST and it turned out ok with the taller plant, but the short stocky one is just too compact and thick to bend.
Anyway, I think I see some pre-flowering on the main tops, but need confirmation.
The only problem other than the plants being so short, is one of the leaves on the top cola site has developed bright yellow tips. No sign of yellowing anywhere else except this one leaf, and the yellowing is very bright and isolated.....it looks like the tips of the leaf were dipped in yellow paint.
Im guessing it’s a reaction to the intense light....basically bleaching but showing only in the tips.
Does anyone think these plants have the potential to yield anything at all??
Give me some thoughts and observations.
For the record, the pics are from day 24 since the seeds sprouted.
Thanks to all for the advice. D5C5F96B-752B-40A6-A19F-D305AF81504A.jpeg1295593D-DBDD-415D-9272-14838E0F00A6.jpegEA7F1CA9-B774-4E63-A71E-DC3309FEEFB9.jpegD5C5F96B-752B-40A6-A19F-D305AF81504A.jpeg1295593D-DBDD-415D-9272-14838E0F00A6.jpegEA7F1CA9-B774-4E63-A71E-DC3309FEEFB9.jpeg

You need to water the outside edges of your soil.. Makes the roots go searching..
Everything looks fairly normal, just keep em healthy and see what you get.. Patience..
