Producers call it a crystal. I imagine it is a fiber optic type deal. One end is placed in sun other end goes into what they call a "focuser", over the indoor plants. Can give up to a 1300 par rating but can be adjusted down to a more fitting 450-500 par. This could be big for indoor commercial? Anyone heard/got info bout this?

I have heard of retail commercial space lighting that routes light from outside to inside and another where a converted sea can to tiny house had something similar (light tubes), you have a link?

I looked for it the day after I first saw it. Had to check about 8 sites, pretty sure it rotated off the first page. I didn't find it. I remember the initials of the Co. or product were SSL. S????? Sun Light. I'll check Google for it later. Wouldn't it be great if this fit a grow tent (3X3 or 4X4) and was priced reasonably? I remember the article did not give the price or coverage details.

It would be very easy to adapt a Home Depot solar tube or a bunch of them. But how many 24" holes are you willing to cut into your roof?

Could always build a simple barn or a shed. or a very simple addition to the house.

I am so curious about this, I need to find some more articles on this.

solatube has been around for many years and is the exact same tech as the home depot tubes

theyre basically just using big ass tubes in that grow.

but when full sun kicks out 2000+ umol it can work. basically every tube can cover triple its area at 700 umol , esp with a little supplemental
