I topped her about two days ago and two tops are shooting up from the sides. I always thought that two shoots grow OUT of the part that you cut. Anyways, here is a pic:

Was I supposed to also cut off the two fan leaves just before the top as well?

Looks good! Those 2 shoots will eventually grow out and form the top of the plant. No new shoots will be forming from where you cut.

no youve done a perfect topping job.. now those two shoots will have 2 full leaves each and will keep growing in two main colas.. i always top/fim.. you should check out fimming.. it does the same thing but acheives more than just 2 main tops

o i just notivced the hydrogmeter at 22% humidity.. try and get that up between 50-75% for veg and about 40-50% for flowering

Thanks for the comments. The reason why I decided to top this plant was because she sprouted a few days before all my other plants, and want to keep them at around the same height. Its my first grow and I want to make sure I do everything right.

I was planning on flowering in 1 week, but should I wait?

Looks nice. Should I be OK flowering next week or should I wait a bit longer? OR should I base that decision on the size of the new tops?

I would wait at least a couple of days if not longer just to let the plant recoup from being cut,, but thats just me....:leaf: good luck with that.....

i like to let my new tops get a few inches long before i flower. these new tops are gonna grow into your colas, if you flower when the tops are still small...well, you can figure it out.

another thing to keep in mind it height. your plants could double or even triple in height while flowering. i use a product that halts vertical growth during flowering called bushmaster. its expensive and its strong(i use 1/4 the recomended dose and a bottle lasts forever) but its worth it in my eyes.
