please don’t buy into the hype of this light. Sorry to burst ya bubble but this is a straight up Chinese light. It literally says Shenzhen lighting Co on it, with a Chinese flag lol. only a fool would believe the advertising for this light. Sure you can get it for $582.00 + a $258.00 small shipping fee lol lol.
but for real though you can get the Growers Choice ROI-E680 from your local grow shop for $999.00 god forbid something happened to it, it wouldn’t have to go back to china
Bahaha

Shenzhen Meijiu lighting co is the name of their company and considering they are based in China they have a flag. Thousands of people have bought these lights without a issue.

oh and where do you think the ROI is made?

The roi is $899 shipped to the door. Actually about to order 2 of them. Would you think it will give close or better yields than 1000hps?

i never measured the temp of the bars, how do you even measure them? But my airconditioner is blowing cool air at it so they should not be too warm i think.
like you would measure leaf-surface temp - use an IR gun.
Are u sure your the groom needs extra cooling when u light up with LED?

It should average around the same....once you figure out how to dial everything in with LEDs.

I have one problem with the ROI 680....its that they only list Osram as their diodes. Are all the diodes Osram or just the red ones? If its just the red ones what diodes are the non red ones? If somebody could clarify this....itd be nice.

Otherwise theyre the best bang for your buck for LED strip bars by far.... other than the Alibaba lights.

I have two Meijiu Majo bar lights over a 9 x 5. Total of 20 bars for 1600 watts. Overkill really.

4 drivers total. Advertised 800 watts each and checked at the wall to be 800.

3000k with added 660nm, etc.

Awesome lights and excellent for flower.

Have the newer MJ-650 in a 4x4. In 3500k with the 660’s. Very solid build.

Advertised as 650watts and confirmed at the wall.

I’ve run other boards and won’t go back from these bar lights.

Definitely recommend.

And as far as efficiency, these lights are much more so than older styles. Many more LED’s distributing the wattage.

I just bought another Hortibloom mega for $699 delivered. Osram reds 2.8 umol beats the Roi.

I checked this morning if there were adjustment screws on the driver but i was disappointed to see there is no adjustment possible at all.
So in my case Meijiu sold me a fixture wich is not 1000 watt as they claim but just 880 watt.
What did they say about this?

Something is off on your end. One of my 650 drivers draws 5.46A and it shows both of yours combined is only drawing 3.90?

It may be that one of you is on 120V and the other 240?

OP: the output of the driver is what you should be worrying about, nott the draw.
If your light runs 1000w draw on 120V and 880w on 240, but with the same DC output then 880w is actually a good thing, dont you think?

@bk78 can you measure dc output of your drivers?

Both of you guys, is the exact driver designation of your lights? Hlg600xxx and hlg320xxxx. Should be written on the driver, this assuming you got meanwells. Lets see if we can get some clarity...

I see that you have an HLG-600H-48B. Is your other driver a HLG-320H-48B?

If so, your drivers have no internal adjustment screws (current or voltage), but each of those drivers come with dim+ and dim- wires so that a current dimmer (PWM, resistance, or 0-10V dimming) can be attached. Do your drivers have anything attached to these wires currently?

These wires normally attach to a dimer/potentiometer of 100k ohm, but if you use something like 110 you can squeeze out a few more watts of the light.

Another possibility is that you have these potentiometer s attached but the spec is slightly wrong (to low). This is something that happens commonly, a 100k ohm rated poti which actually only does 95, which means max amps out off the ddriverr is limited. An easy way to check for this would be disconnecting the dimmer potis and measuring at wall power draw again. If i goes up youll know its a dimmer issue.

How is the heat with those meiju bar lights?

Im happy for you that ist working fine in your case, but why should it be off with me when its working for you and not for me?
You judge people to fast, i could say you act like Meijiu`s lawyer but i dont. You call people noob and other bad things . People like you make me not post anymore here, so this my last post in this subject. I think some posts about companies are too positive and people should be warned when something is not right. I have no benefit in this other than helping the community.
He’s trying to help you.
