Is this color normal or is this some kind of deficiency?

Hydro newbie here so please bear with me :) Is the colour normal? Seems yellowish to me especially with the camera flash on.

I am on my 5th week of flower, 8th week from seed. I use a 5gal DWC system inside a small closet with LED lights.

I use RO water. I am currently using Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect Sensi Bloom at 3ml/liter. The top leaves seems yellowish to me so I added some Botanicare CalMag my last reservoir change yesterday. I also added Protekt (Silica) because I have been experiencing excessive heat in my grow room this past few weeks. New mixture came out at 830ppm and 6.4 ph since I added the Calmag and Protekt.

So my question is:

1. Am I doing the right thing with adding CalMag and Protekt?

2. Do I need to add PH down to try to get my water at the 5.8-6.2ph range or do I leave it at 6.4ph?

My PH is usually 5.8 with AN's PH perfect system, but when I added the extra stuff PH is currently stable at 6.4.

I have had no problems whatsoever with the grow till now. I have been waiting for those top leaves to change color for more than a week.

Look's ok, but flush for one week to be on safe side and then watch you Cal-Mag amounts, very easy to get "n" toxicity which presents it's self by the leaves looking like "claws" and are dark green in color. What strain, because sativa's like a little higher "PH" that indica's. nutrient amounts might be a little high, taking in consideration of Cal-Mag use (count the "n" amounts of all nutrients. during vegation your "n" need to be higher that "P", then once in flower "P" needs to be higher than "N"

Personally I see nothing bad.

I wouldn't flush for a week with plain water in DWC as your plants would be starving.

If you're setting your DWC bucket to at 830ppm what does it test at after 24hours?

If ppm decreases then you can feed a little stronger.

If ppm increases you need to water it down.

Silica increases pH that's why its coming out higher than normal.

Check your bucket every 24hours and monitor ppm and pH changes.

Ppm +/- 150ppm means you need to readjust your mix.

PH between 5.2-6.2 should mean no need to worry about pH as drifts in this range are common as different nutrient ions are removed during uptake.

But yeah,, buffer that pH down to your 5.9 - 6.0 level and watch for swings.....

Looking GOOD!

Checked the water this morning and its at 890ppm and 6.6ph.

I then readjusted it to 800ppm 5.9ph by adding RO water with a little ph down. I really appreciate the help guys.

Try to find the sweet spot whereby your ppm is pretty much staying the same.

The sweet spot will change as growth progresses.

Hey mate, i just tested my tap water ph and it says 8.5
I still havent tested my runoff water.
How can i practically lower my ph to around 6.5 for soil use?
Please help, i'm worried to water again with this water.
I'm into 1 month veg outdoor in small pots.
Thinking of lemon juice/ vinegar after some research. Are these mj friendly?

Ummmm.... newbie.... new growth will always be lime green, slightly yellow.... not yellow, lime.... then it changes as the new growth matures...
Don't flush if you have not screwed the dog....
If everything else except color looks good... then you are good...
When the first thing that comes out of someone's keyboard: "I'd flush asap" do not listen...
You need experience... you'll get it... don't change ANYTHING radical....
Have a great day.... Your MJ looks good....
