Is this cal-mag problem?

Ease up on the nutes. Either your soil is too hot or your pre fed and you're adding nutes on top of it and it is frying it. Try to flush the medium with 3x the volume of clean 6.5 pH water to remove some of the nutrients. Then next time you water just use pH'd water until you see the leaves bounce back. You'll want to trim the necrosis off the leaves so the plant can focus on the new healthy growth

I did what you said already. I have not been feeding either. Some of them have come back but this one and a few others still have no change. They have red stems and stopped growing. Not sure what the problem is.

How often do you water? Could be pH fluctuating which is causing a lockout. What soil? What conditions are you in? Medium? We need some details and we could analyze for you easier.

I don't water until nice and dry. I have them in a organic soil mix I picked up. Not sure what brand now. Temps are 80 for a high 72 for a low. I use two 300w led lights for veg. I use fox farm nutrients. But haven't been feeding. Oh correct water going in at 7 and ph tested water from runoff at 6.5.

How close are your lights ? What size pot is that

One gallon pot and lights are about 20 inches away. The plants have stopped growing too. Very red stems and not many fan leaves .

The soil mix looks dense and I dont see any perlite or drainage material.

Plants grow this way when roots are stifled, blocked or too wet consistently.

I know you said you water when dry. But how dry? I like to see a moisture probe meter show dry range 3/4 down the pot before watering.

Many times the tip few inches can be dry but the bottom soaked.

Ribbed curled down leaves and light green with necrosis starting from the bottom like Npk deficiencies is typical symptoms.

If I am way off here I apologize.

How bout root temps? Is it cold at the floor. I have recently had persistent mag and calcium problems. Seem to be caused by the direct air conditioned air in my intake vents. Problem goes away with a light leaching with fresh water and warmer floor temps.

Ph’ing water for proper potting soil is not needed. It should be buffered properly with lime or oyster shell.

Unless the water is very alkaline. But then it should be mixed with filtered water to dilute.

Well thats another topic, I'm asking op why he does it. *edit: Just guessing but from looking at the pictures it doesn't look like he's made or amended the soil, it looks like it's lacking even in perlite?

Fair enough. I spoke out of turn. Just that most of my problems went away when I stopped adjusting water and nute mixtures in soil.

Get your 1/2 inch drill out. I'd like to see a 2 inch staggered pattern around the pot plus or minus 2 inches from top and bottom; get some air to those roots.

Take a fork and loose top layer avoiding roots and put 3 more liters of your perlite amended soil should have more roots in 2 weeks then flip her also top her now while your at it.
