Are you growing a haze...12+ week flower but massive yields. I'm saving my haze genetics for there own flowering area:) happy growing though, I really hope all goes well.
I'm growing Nirvana's White Castle. It's a indica dominant hybrid. It's a cross between ICExWhite Widow and i believe its the widow that a notoriously slow grower. I heard it usually takes between 10-12 weeks, but it all depends on the growing conditions. Just started LST yesterday and that plants are doin good. I'll probably transplant next week

I popped my seeds in peat/coco next time. After 7 days I just transplanted into happy frog and I'm getting no complaints from the girls yet. Here's a few photos of me/a newbie nervously popping seeds no pre soak 7 days ago and check it out. I'm posting this hoping it will help. I'm excited for you, your gonna be puffin your own soon enough. I look forward to seeing you progress. View attachment 3212490View attachment 3212491 View attachment 3212492

Yea some good points made in this thread u should defo start with the soil u suggested and I would take the advice of sticking to one strain oh and before u go any further make sure and give the man taking ur old ps3s hand a really good shake because that is the deal of the century mate...

I was a nervous wreck about getting started with germination (psychological). Now I'm nervous excited/can't sleep/delirious, stoned. You'll do good, it's a lot of fun and they are meant to be enjoyed. I'll keep watching, enjoy the day. And THANK YOU:)

Going with more than one strain for a first grow is totally up to you. Even when you are doing a grow with just one strain, every plant is different and requires close attention to its needs. In other words, you'll have to watch each plant ANYWAY, so why not watch several strains? On the other side of the argument is the fact that a first grow is always a learning experience and you WILL make mistakes. Making newbie mistakes with an expensive strain might make you cry. LOL

Your product list is WAY more than you'll need for a soil grow. I'm a long time grower and my list is about 1/4 that long for every grow. Just sayin.

Soil growers only NEED:
seeds (or clones)
starter medium (like an organic starter soil or peat pellets)
good soil (never use miracle grow or the like)
cups for seedlings, then 2 incrementally larger size containers for re-potting
de-chlorinated water
proper lighting
vegetative feed
bloom feed
fan

It's nice to have:
pH tester
thermometer
exhaust system for larger home-grows (4 or more plants)
magnifying glass

I think that covers it, but I'm short on time today and not thinking too deeply .... LOL

Started training with some paper clips. This is a super easy way to train your plants to stay short and bushy. To me this is one of the most important steps to increasing yield imo. I defiantly need to transplant by next week. probably should of already done it, but im stuck trying to decide if i wanna use buckets or smart pots. Anyone got any opinions?IMAG0577.jpg IMAG0576.jpg
