If so is it too earlier to tell whether or not it’s male or female?

If you want. You have some time. The deadline to kill it is when the balls grow away from the stalk. Right before they begin to hang and open it. Spray the plant with water. Soak every flower you see. Yank him up and destroy. Outside, somewhere. Don't do it in the house. Pollen can go miles on a gentle breeze.

I wouldn’t give up just yet. Maybe give it another week to be sure.

Its a good thing to grow it out to a point.

You need to see what a males does. What it looks like in the development stages. It's not a big deal unless you let go too long. One single pollen sack will seed all your females. To include your neighbors plants.

thanks for advice for future reference behive, it’s my only plant so I’m not gonna have to worry about that this time I don’t think. I’ll give it another week tho hopefully I get lucky.

I would wait and see. You could always pollinate one plant and then have seeds for a loooooong time. That's what I'm going to do.

Here's your chance to practice collecting pollen. Folded wax paper. Make up brush. Use it to learn all you can.

Not really. Pollen is fragile. The last time I collected pollen. Right after collecting. I brushed a lower female flower using a tiny make up brush with the pollen stuck to it. Wait 5 minutes and spray with water.

Its more then possible to have the majority of a female seedless. Except for a couple buds at the lower part of the plant. I can only recommend fresh. I've never stored pollen so I really.don't know.
