Is this a Pollen Sac?

Hey Guys,

I just noticed this weird bunch of white flakey bud from my grow that I've never seen before. Here is a little information:

Strain: Cali OG Kush x Haze (These are clones from my previous mother plant which yielded about 160 grams or 5.6 ounces, Feminized Seeds from Crop King Seeds)
Vegetation Date: Feb 28, 2018
Flowering Date: May 29, 2018
Current Week since Flowering: 10th week

So I'm ready to harvest this coming week but noticed these sacs, any idea what they are? I haven't seen them before until pretty much now. The buds are looking great but just wanted to be sure if these were pollen sacs and if they are, how they came about since the mother plant grew perfectly fine and clones are supposed to resemble the mother plant 100%. The last pic shows one of the buds.

Thanks in advance!

Did you notice any brown hairs early in flowering?
Nope, everything was fine until now when I was getting some trichome samples to put under the magnifier. Noticed the bunch of white sacs... kinda puzzled me but my first thoughts were sacs. Strange thing is my previous mother plant at this number of days (68 in flowering) had probably 80% brown hairs while this clone still has about 60% white hairs. Any idea why? would it be because of the sacs?

I tend to the plants every day but I guess I just missed it... sigh... Any idea how this might have happened? This plant is a clone from a feminized seed. Thanks!!

Yes sir those are definitely pollen sacs...whole crop might be seeded
The sacs may have grown from the 9th week because I went through my photos and didn't see the sacs anytime before that. Would the pollen affect the buds? I am literally harvesting today but noticed a lot of white hairs still... would this be the cause of the white hairs? Thanks!

First of all, why are you harvesting now? Looking at your last pic with the "white hairs" you still have several weeks to go before you should harvest. Secondly, those male pollen sacks may not be mature enough (opened) to have pollinated any buds if you caught them in time. Finally, it may have been caused by stress to the plant at some point resulting in the clone to hermie. That or the seed stock may not have been a stable feminized strain to begin with.

Maybe someone else can chime in. Just my 2 cents.

I do agree with the above. Looks like it has at least 2 weeks to go. Chop now if you have other plants you are worried about pollinating. Those are some healthy looking open male flowers.

Prepare to clean grow area AFTER harvest .....

Buds look pretty good this late in the game ... wouldn’t doubt that when you harvest you find some immature seeds developing.

i agree with jay 100%. don't harvest today. destroy the balls and wait a couple more weeks! a few seeds is fine... so what you have some back up seeds if you run out. you shouldn't be riddled with seeds... and there's a possibility those sacs are sterile and wont do a thing... i had 3 plants hermie on me.... i caught them long before they looked like this... BUT!!! the result has been only about... 3 - 4 seeds out of around 320g's. they could be a cross of whatever you are growing.
Find out how it happened and attempt to prevent it, but it happened so there's no use getting worked up over it. just a lesson to be learned. experience to be had...
i personally can't believe you didn't know exactly, no question, what they were when saw them!!!

Hey Jay, thanks for the input! Reason why I was planning to harvest today was because I'll be going on a vacation in a few days and because of the sacs, I don't want the buds to deteriorate. I checked out the trichomes and noticed a few amber crystals developing and the rest are cloudy, not a lot of clear trichomes. As well, the mother plant was harvested around this duration so the genes should be identical. (And I love the way the buds turned out, strongest strain I've ever had, including buds that I've bought from dispensaries). I just snipped off the whole entire bud with the sacs and saw a few 'explosions' occur from the sacs... As for stress, I checked for light leaks but couldn't find anything, the pH was consistent, might have been due to my last flush since I may have used a bit more flush solution then usual. (or the flush solution may have expired, I've had it for about 3 years now... Fox Farm Bush Doctor). But anyways, thanks again for your input, it's greatly appreciated!!

I'll definitely sanitize the whole area, starting to clean it now for all it's worth. Seeds would be good though, hope they're feminized... lol

Seeds would definitely be good, where exactly on the plant would I find them? I checked everywhere for light leaks and stress but couldn't find anything. I'm actually in a way, kinda glad this happened because I've never experienced it before so I'll definitely know next time what to lookout for. Thanks for your suggestions! Appreciate it!

I too thought I had found a keeper mother plant recently she run fine twice third time produced one massive ball sack amongst female flowers not nanners coming out of buds a big ball sack straight off a stem,I put mine down to heat stress as it’s been really hot in uk recently like over 30 degrees anyhow she still got killed off and she was from a pack of regulars. I have run a pack of glueberry fem beans and kept a mum around for over a year now with no herm issues, I think it’s just luck. All different things can slow down flowering, temperatures, stress from pruning, high nitrogen levels can slow down the onset of flowering I have tested this for myself

If your sure you got through 9 weeks without any sacks you will be fine just cut them away. Seeds take a lot longer to form. How close are your lights I’m pretty sure lights too close can cause an outburst of new white hairs, I raise mine up slightly toward end of flower

The lights are about 8 inches away. I'm using a 1200W LED MarsHydro setup next to a 600W LED MarsHydro in a 4x2 cabinet. There are 3 plants and they're on the 10th week now! Thanks for all the info!! Appreciate it!

yeah them plants are going to be no good so i thinks its best you give them to me to dispose of properly

plant probably just wanted to continue its life cycle so put some male sacs at the end of its grow

cool looking cluster though even if its unwanted

This has helped me too. So... thank you.
