Is this a nutrient deficiency issue?

Was just getting ready to put her into 12/12 and I noticed brown spots developing on older leaves and a lighter than normal colour to new growth.

5 gallon pot
Happy Frog Soil with extra perlite
PH 6.3

Sorry,

I’m feeding her tbsp molasses/gallon
Green planet medi 1: .5 ml / litre

that’s it.

I didn’t feed anything for the first 38 days of veg. Just happy frog and water. I was seeing how long I could go but I think I pushed it a bit too far

Usually when my leaves are dark on the veins i over fed and when they are lighter i under fed. But yea you could do for a good feed with some nitrogen. I hit the plant heavy in nitrogen in veg. And then cut it back and raise my phosphorus

Use some Nitrogen for the 3 or more weeks (depending on plants) during early flower but more light than you would during veg. Itll help develop longer and heavier buds.

ive added dry amendments (blood meal and worm castings). Hopefully this helps. Should I wait to see how they recover before switching to 12/12?

Yea let them veg awhile longer extra light feeding or 2 or until no more newer growth has the issue.

It your plants are getting a little big try training a few of the branches to maintain. The extra growth according to your grow area perimeter

Thank you. Appreciate the help. I noticed my soil PH was increased a bit to 7.0. Is the molasses adding alkalinity?

Just an update. It was a calcium deficiency. I’ve been adding the recommended dosage of CaliMag to each watering and feeding and she has come back to life! I thought I was going to lose her.

I’m using RO water. Should I add the recommended dosage of calimag every time?

thanks to all who helped
