Is this a male plant?

wow you are thick and are making some embarrassing assumptions

you posted pictures that newbies use as references, yes the diagrams and correct, the ops plant however, without pictures of that quality cannot be %100 diagnosed as male or female.

when preflowers begin they start off as a calyx (yes it looks like a single male flower) but you cant say pistils will not emerge from the calyx, if the calyces emerge in bunches then you can say you have a male.

Ops pics showed single calyx preflowers, no stigmas and no bunches of balls, just tiny single calyx preflowers at the nodes = to early to determine sex, as I said some calyx will do nothing but grow for week before poping out pistils, some will show pistils when the calyx is barely visible
This guy doesn't grow. Don't listen to him. Calyxes don't have stems, period. Find me a Calyx with a defined stem--like the clear ballsack in his photo--and I'll go away.

On my indicas the pistils are usually visible well before the calyxes are even fully developed.

No harm in keeping your male if you plan to collect some pollen. You can seed out a single bud with strategic use of a solo cup.

If you can't spot the male in that pic, perhaps you shouldn't be commenting in this thread.
Correct, most people are saying it is too early to tell or the picture is bad; what I have to say: The picture is perfect and there is clearly a male ball visible, if you cannot see that go and literally get a magnifying glass to your screen and check.

Warning: Magnifying glasses are perfectly safe and will not harm you in any way; be sure to look at the sun with them.

Looks like I spoke too soon, now the plant's showing preflowers now.

I think the plant's a hermie and if I remember correctly, this was bagseed from a dispensary and the buds were huge, but it was the worst smoke I've ever purchased in a dispensary...extremely harsh, and weak, I tried to return it to no avail...I believe it's Querkle x Space Cheese.

Now the plant is seriously showing some yellowing and dead leave tips.

Using:
Fox Farms Happy Frog and trio of nutrients 4 gal. bucket.
T5 4' 8 bulb - Vegged with 6500k bulbs and now have a mix of bloom and veg bulbs.
No nutes for month then started Grow Big and Big Bloom according to FF dosage, but found that the plants didn't like it so I cut it in half and feed it nutes every other watering.

Problems with the plant:
Infested with fungus gnats after I tried the molasses supplement. The entire topsoil was crawling with them...I think I've managed to get rid of most of them and don't see them everyday.

Soil became extremely hard and crusty with poor water absorption with the water pooling on top of the soil. This was due to the cow manure/compost that I put on as topsoil to cover some bare roots. Now, I've been trying to massage the pot to break up the soil which seems to help with the absorption. The plant is 2 months old in veg and I've never flushed, although on my last watering, I gave it twice the usual amount of water.

I believe the yellowing started after about a month, and it's gotten progressively worse since then.

What's causing the yellowing...iron deficiency?

This was the healthiest plant that I had and grew very fast, but after I fim'd the plant, it seemed to have slowed it's growth considerably...I did get 6 shoots growing out of it.

Thanks for this thread. ..I think I'll be tossing a few of mine tomorrow. I'm in week of six veg and I'm seeing pistols on one. That doesn't mean I MUST go to 12/12 does it? In other words will she veg indefinitely under 24 or 18 regardless of pre flower?
