Is this a major issue? Just started budding

Hey, can anyone assist me please?
I have placed my plants into the budding 12/12 stage after 8 weeks of veg. They are fairly big and so far, look healthy. However, one or two of them have begun to have a yellowing of the leaves and they just fall off. The rest of the plant still looks healthy though. I heard that I should give them some veg notes with one of my feeds, which I have.
I'm growing in coco and using dutch go pro nutes and using mag/cal supplement
600 watt light
Permanent fan
Ph is at 5.8

The thing is the humidity is real high as well, about 80% do I need a dehumidifier?

Please help would be a shame to cock it up now

Kind Regards

you want les humidity in flowering to prevent mold Id say 30 to 45 percent is okay. good luck on your leaves

Have you been feeding at the reccomended levels or are you feeding light? And are you feedimg every watering or every other? One more question have you recently lowered the light and what height is the light at?

Hey, yeah not feeding them light, am feeding at recommended dosage stated on nute charts. Lights about 18 inch away from plants. I know I need to bring the humidity down and have ordered a dehumidifier. Like I say like look healthy and am not sure what to do to stop this yellowing. It's only really been since they started budding, where I swapped to budding nutes and altered light cycle. Is it an Nitrogen deficiency?

Thanks for the feedback

Is the yellowing right under the light? Is it happening as much on the outside of the tent? If its all over it may be low nitrogen. This happens sometimes if you switch straight to flower nutes at the flip.

Hey, it tends to be mainly on the inside of the plants and randomly, the leaves fall to the bottom. Not all the plants get it though. Which is weird coz there the same strain and have the same conditions. I've heard you get this when, like I have, flipped straight over to flower nutes. And have seen on YouTube, that I should mix up some veg nutes with flower ones, which I did yesterday. Is it worth buying some nitrogen nutrients?

Cheers

I run veg nutes to week 4.5 of flower and then start blendimg them veg to flower and transition them slowly. Thats what i find keeps the plants the greenest.

Right, ok that seems like a good idea, should I keep it at a 50/50 mix with the flowering nutes? Do you think? I do have a bottle of Nitrozyme also, do you think it would be good to add this when watering, or use as a foliar spray on them? Like I say I'm getting a dehumidifier, I never thought that the humidity may cause bud rot, because it is humid in the tent and I don't know why.

The ratio is up to you, like i said, i go full veg nutes 3-1-2 for a while. Ive never been much of a foliar feeder. Too much at risk to go gettin experimental on shit lol. Bud rot isnt really that big of an issue usually as long as you have good airflow all over and theres no buds leaning on walls. But ya, bring that humidity down asap. Its humid in there because the plants transpire and fill the air with water. More air movement will help like a bigger cfm inline or more occelating fans.

Ok thanks for the advice, will crack on with the new tips. Only six weeks left so will keep you posted.

Hey quick catch up, my plants are now 3 1/2 weeks into budding. Ive gone to full bud nutes now and the buds are developing nicely even getting crystals on now.
The only thing is the yellowing of the leaves is still happening, think I may be worrying needlessly as have been informed this is just the plant drawing all the nutes from the leaves to the buds/flowers. Does anyone agree?

How much fresh air are they getting? Or...if youre doing co2 are they getting enough?

If they are not getting enough co2 from either your burner or tank or not enough fresh air then your leaves will start to yellow .... and then brown...and eventually dry right up and crumble off...as the plant is desperate for co2 and will eat itself in search of it...just like if it is short of nutes... co2 starvation looks just like any other kind of nute starvation

By that pic with the three leaves.... i see the middle one has browned in the middle, which is what happ3ned to me when my plants didnt get enough fresh air....

If they dont get enough your yield will be pathetic...ask me howbi know...lol

After looking at all your pics closer i would bet a lot of money youre not giving them enough fresh air...

Hey there,

Thanks for the reply. I think they're getting enough air I have a 5 inch extracter fan in there and always have the air holes open on the tent to allow air flow in. There's also a 15 inch fan in there moving the air around.

I think the yield should be good though looking at the size of the buds and the crystals on them thus far. The yellowing is more severe on two of the plants. Like I say I don't think there's a quick fix and don't think there's owt wrong with nutes, ph, watering.

I was looking on the Internet last night for some answers and found a picture and a bit of advice describing what is possibly going on, I will attach it here. The other two pics are of the buds that are forming on my plant and I think there looking ok.

So not sure really do I just put a little faith in my plants.

Cheers

I like to transition feed my plants, first week flower is veg still, second is half veg nutes half bloom. Third is one third veg two thirds bloom, 4th week i go bloom and start p k boosting.

Hey,
Yeah I think you're right to mix the nutes I'm glad I did that over my previous three weeks of budding and I'm gradually gonna go full bud nutes. As I'm flowering over eight weeks I think it enables me time to do that with the nutes.

I didn't realise it was a normal process for the leaves to start going yellowish and a lighter green (mainly lower down the plant and fan leaves). I hope I'll get a good yield and end result.

It's way too early for the plants to be yellowing and withering.

So you have a passive intake. But... where is the air coming from?

Is your extractor fan venting outside or into the house? If it's venting just inside the house then that air is just being sucked right back into the tent (unless you are piping fresh air in from outside, but I know you're not), which is exactly the problem.

I'd hate to see you chase around a nute problem when that's not it at all. I ended up flushing a couple times thinking it was salt build up / lock out and all that shit. when all I had to do was exhaust outside and pipe in fresh air from outside. Made a world of difference.....way too late...

This whole nute change thing from veg to bloom nutes is irrelevant. When I switch I just switch, boom, from one to the other, no problems. Just like most others. There's no need to mix them and transition.

You can ignore this if you like and chase your tail. But keep in mind you're about the fifth guy that I've run into here that had the same problem. Some listen, some don't...

Hey yeah, there's a fresh intake of air into the room, so the only other thing I can do is open the tent up. I can't understand why it only started when it went into budding though.
How do you suggest I get more air in? I have the room windows open and the extractor pipe going to the outside window.
