Is this a good lighting setup?

Hi, i'm new and looking to grow indoors.

I plan on growing a single plant inside a cabinet until it begins flowering, then I will move it outdoors.

I have a light-setup and need to know if this is good and will help the plant grow.

I have 2 1w Cree LEDs at the top, one red and one blue, I have 3 small strips of white at the top left and 3 small strips of amber at the top right, and I have red and blue led strips in the middle. ALL LEDs are facing where the plant will be, so my question, will this work?

Also, what is the light and watering cycle after I germinate my seed, and for how long until its ready for flowering? Thanks.

how many watts are the strips? might work ok for starting but my guess if it's low watts, it's not going to work very well. I would add some CFLs, they're cheap to run. you can get cheap reflectors and CFLs at walmart for pretty cheap.

each led strip is 6 watts (3 strips) and the side leds are 8w each, and the top 2 are 1w each

Not sure how big the plant will get before it'll need more light. Maybe by the third or fourth node? What season are you in? When will this plant get moved outdoors?

Don't know what you mean by season or node, please explain. And I plan on moving it outdoors until it gets too big for the cabinet, correct?

If you veg indoors and plan to put it outside you have to pit it out in spring and usually finishes by fall, depending on strain. Down here in socal outdoor season starts in April and ends oct. Hope this helps

Idk, I usually don't recommend moving plants that were outdoors back indoors, mainly because of bugs. If you still want to do that, however, we usually recommend 40-60W per square foot of grow space.

I've noticed also plants moved outside from low intensity lighting also get shocked and do poorly after being pamperd in doors ;-)

Usually 24/0 or 18/6 for veg as for waterings depends on your medium, with all coco I usually water every 3 or 4 days. You usually want to wait till there a little dry between waterings. They usually show sex or pre flowers 4vweeks from germination. Another good indication of them being mature are staggard nodes.

I think i'll just keep it indoors. I'm adding an exhaust and ventilation system as well. I also might add a 60w CFL light. I am germinating the seeds today so wish me luck.
