my best friend is thinking about growing four of five plants outdoors, on his parents property this summer. i don't know if this is a good idea but his parents have quite a bit of land. if the plants were discovered (by plane or however) could his parents get into any trouble? i wanted to hear what others have to say about it.

If he doesnt live there to take the blame hell no his parents could lose their house, land and their freedom dont do it. Try public land if anything not family. Just my opinion good luck on finding a better suited location. WOODS!!!!!!

Depends where you are,in Canada they just yank the plants if the owner of the land does not know.It happens fairly often in the rural parts of Ontario, where people plant in farmers corn. Nobody gets charged unless they catch you actually tending the plants.

i kind of think thats how it would go down if the plants gets discovered. but he wouldn't have to worry about his parents getting mixed in if he found a better spot.

Best practice is for your friend to use his parents' land as an access route to some other nearby property. The neighbors won't be at any real risk as long as they had no knowledge of the grow. People can't be held responsible for something the neighbors' kids did.
