hi folks im a first time grower and my crop is in the last 2 weeks of flowering and this is what i've been told to do from a friend

to flush for 1 week
strip the fan leaves and starve the last week he said that would increase the size of my buds

what do yous think

flush yes, its never a good idea to stress your plants like that (LST ok during veg and early flowering). Let them run out au natural, flush a week or so before they've reached optimal maturity on their own time and you'll be pleasantly rewarded. After I flush I feed nothing but purified water for a week or so till I chop. Stressing as you described above will not increase the size or quality of your finished product.

I agree with hoss that it's probably best to avoid any stress if possible. As you near the end if leaves are yellowing or looking ready to fall off then I would remove, otherwise I would keep the plant intact and employ the tuck technique to get more light on the buds.
