Is there such a thing as a "best weed" to use to make concentrate?

so pretty soon im gonna want to order some seeds to make hash or concentrate... since that will be new territory, I wanted to ask if theres such a thing as a best "strain" or "type" of weed to make such concentrate with? I know u can use all the cuttings etc after harvest.. but I wanna grow BUDS specifically to make concentrate with.. probably using a ice water method

speaking of which... theyve been cultivating "hash" for years by hand... so is the water hash, ice water bubbler method a better way? or just easier? whats the best way to make the concentrate once ive gotten my seed picked out to grow for it??? Thank you!!!!!:bigjoint:

Indicas tend to be stickier and heavier with resin. Lots a trichomes. I've been hearing good things about Indica-dominant Kush strains, such as pre-98 Bubba Kush (that one from TGA). Fwiw. cn

I feel like I'm getting a better texture out of sativa dom strains.

heres what Ive heard.. Indica have bigger trich's.. sativa have smaller trich heads.. so if you use a hybrid, or two strains together, you get a mix of different size trich heads etc..by using a progessively finer & finer bubble bag, its eventually will screen out all the indica heads, so depending on how you want your hash to be consiting of, depends on how many times you refine it, and how long you cure etc... thats what ive been able to read so far

Sours and OGs if melt is your main thing. Check out TGA subcools strain descriptions, many of them also include details concerning IWE quality in addition to the usual stuff.

I do not think that a hybrid makes indica and sativa glands, they just make their own unique gland sizes depending on genotype and phenotype. Run the IWE with all 8 bags for a test run of a given strain, there will be much variation in which ones are the "best" micron size for each variety and even each grow of a given variety. Plus it all depends on your goals which are very personal preference dependent. IMO extract the resins as pure as possible = less agitation for IWE.

true.. I shoulda clarified.. the HYBRIDS will have as you said a in between size etc.. but MAYBE if one were to use both an indica strain, and seperately a sativa strain, and im not knowledgable on the extraction part, I like hash, or ANY cpncentrate as well as weed.. i wanna make it alll.... but maybe if I were to use two different kinds as i was saying, and use different micron size bags... then i could combine the two hashes to make one solid brick of a combination of sativa & indica concentrate together in a press???????

for every 5 people like yourself, there were always be 2 more that are better at breeding and have more potent genetics that you cannot get your hands on by reverse psychology ;)

Totally off topic, but I keep seeing your avatar and I finally had to ask... Is that you/your car? I'm a huge small tire fan, and I *think* I know what car that looks like...
