Is there something f*cked up in my new HPS bulb

Ok so heres the deal im growing one plant (other 3 arent tall enough yet) under a 600 watt SunMaster Super HPS Deluxe bulb purchased form a local hydro shop...i have a 600 watt FutureBrite Digi-Ballast...where my problem is is that i have noticed my buddys HPS bulb (unsure of type) glows alot darker red then mine...mines on the lighter orange side...but its bright and my plant is deffinitley reacting well with white hairs covering every top,budding started September 12th....im just not sure if my ballast is fucked...my bulb was used or defective or what...or it could just be that its not a regular HPS (due to the whole "Super" and "Deluxe" headings on the package)....if anyone has any experience or info on this or even just ideas or notions...its appreciated

i dont know. i upgraded to a hortiIux buIb and its more orange in Iight the other,as Iong as the Piants doing weII . different types i think emiss a different spectrum of Iight ,or they'de aII be them same.

There is nothing wrong. It's just the spectrum of your enhanced HPS bulb. Mine is more of an orange too.
