I believe there is a place called "green bliss" located in the burbs. They do have Dr's singing off for patients that need the card for medical reasons. Let us know how it goes.

i understand that this is a older thread but, op you might have a problem with that , the state of il. is the strictest state so far, there is only 33 quilifing conditions. and artheritus isnt one of them nor is a general pain section. now they coulda changed it since ive looked last but. honestly yes it would be nice to be legal, but if you get caught growing your going to prison condition or not, if you get caught with weed other than what you got from the dispensary your going to prison, and they havent even allowed weed to be grown for il. yet. your talking maybe june or later the last time i checked the web sites. and like i said i could be wrong and i hope i am but, i gave up the dream after all the reading i did before it was even approved, even thou i have one of the 33 listed conditions... in my opinion the state of il. only approved it to make money off the arrests and fines. for instance if you get caught driveing with in 8-12 hrs of being intoxicated/ under the influance your card will be revocked and you get a dui.. well tell me how the hell are they gonna tell if your high or if its remanats of the thc left in your system... its a set up in my opinion and just not worth my driving privlages, or to the point that illinoise employers havent yet made a descion weather or not to allow it. they are still drug testing in what ive seen and heard more than before... the only place im aware of that has a dr. is in chicago.. good luck let us know how it goes
