Been away for a while.
Plants started off very slowly and were yellow. It took me a while but i realised I needed to change my veg nutes.
Purchased some sensi Grow A & B to use instead of the Mother Earth tea, & flushed the coco with 3l of water. The NFT was flushed for 3 days the plants responded well, & now look green & a lot healthier.
Thee pics are from 04-3-08

I added a 9" & 6" desk fan to provide better circulation.
These pics were taken 10-3-08

Coco After repotting

NFT looking better

After 4 weeks in veg, (not intended) the lights have been swithced. The smallest of the plants in coco is only abt 6-7" tall but is been flowered anyway.

Five days into Flowering, The NFT growth is a lot denser than the coco. The 3 in coco had Mother Earth Bloom, Humic & Fulvic acid EC 1.2 for there last feed.

day 1 week 2 flowering.
Trimmed all of the plants on the NFT today, the canopy was thick, light penertration through the plants was not as good as it could be. Fresh 20l of water added with, sensi A & B, Mother Earth Bloom, Big Bud, B52, Carboload, Humic & fulvic acid to EC 1.6
The hydro does seem to be outgrowing the coco. Due to the problems I had early in veg i suspected the opposite. They have not had the same feeds since switching the lights.
These pics are the plants on the NFT...

The 2 larger plants in coco had a feed of Big Bud, Mother Earth, Sensi A & B & carboload to EC 1.6
The smaller plant which is a shade lighter had the same feed with extra Mother Earth to EC 1.8

until the next update...

Changed the res today added Big Bud, Mother Earth, B52, Humic & fulvc to EC 1.3. The hydro has come on well, Looking for early signs of resin throughout this week.
Tried to thin out the canopy & get better penertration through the plants. Hydro seems to be slightly more advanced than the coco.

The coco had a feed of Sensi Bloom, Mother Earth & Big Bud EC 1.6
This is the 1st time im using coco & after the early probs im pleased & will be using coco again. The smell from the coco is slightly sweeter than the hydro although not as strong.

I have always used Advanced Nutrients and didnt feel the need to change to canna. Another grower is using there nutes & coco, so i will wait on there results before considering to change.

The coco i use does not have any added chemicals....

very nice dude. Love the NFT one espeically, looks fucking well bushy. Great job. Must be nice playing around with the different mediums. I haven't had the balls to move out of my soil comfort zone yet. But I will try coco one day and I've always really fancied trying clay pebbles in hyrdro as well.

week 3 day 2 flowering.

The hydro needed to be topped up so added 16l water, Mother earth, Big Bud & Humic & fulvic acid Ec 1.4
No pics of hydro plants are too big to move all the time.

The coco pots were all very light, so each had 2l with Mother Earth, Big Bud, B52, Carboload Humic & Fulvic acid EC 1.6
Both the hydro & cooc are showing early signs of resin production.
