Is Rand Paul a sellout for endorsing Romney?

Rand's reasoning for the endorsement, in drawn at words, was to ally with the Neocons to beat Obama. He expresses that he wants to work with the party as opposed to fighting them in order to preserve the influence that we have developed over the GOP. However, Rand makes a good point that he has been fighting for liberty in the Senate:

A lot of us feel that he is only furthering the "lesser of two evils" ideology and is only endorsing Romney for political capital. Also, the timing is horrible, why not wait til August? I think this was a stupid move and would obviously piss everyone off....

Overall the endorsement doesn't really matter, but was a dick move.
