Okay, I burnt the top of my plant. I didnt move the light and it grew to fast. she is about 1 month in to flowering. people have told me to top the plant ASAP because the burnt bud and leaves will take to much energy to repair. I have also read that you dont want to top your plant to late. Is it to late and what can I do to help this problem?:weed:

What do you have to lose? You either leave a burnt top on there to piss you off everytime you see it or cut it off and see what she'll do to recover.

well it all depends on how big your plant is... if its a big plant, topping one growshoot wont make any difference regardless of when you do it... if it's a small plant, if you top it, you shouldn't top it later than 2 weeks into flowering so the plant doesn't wasted energy

I would just cut the burnt part off just a tad below the effected area. Nice clean razor cut at a 45 degree angle should do it for ya :hump:

ok well if it's in flowering already(which you did not mention) you can top it but dont expect anything to grow... you can't grow it any bigger than what it probably already is in flowering... you could reveg it but your already a month in so i wouldn't... if you wanted a bigger plant you should have grown if bigger in the vegetative stage... i'm not sure about burns requiring more energy but i'd leave it alone if i were you.. the damage is done
