E EastSideGreens Active Member Jul 8, 2008 #3 No imo. Co2 should only be used for big indoors operations. It's not needed for small cultivation
Dirtyboy Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2008 #5 Co2 is mainly used in a room that is completely closed up. If its not then ya must close it up.
S stickyickyy Active Member Jul 8, 2008 #6 I was reading that even if the room isn't 100% tight it will still work as long as the hose is close to the plants.

McLovin420 Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2008 #7 This is what you need It cost me $140 for the valve on ebay, the 50lb tank cost $60 bucks a year to rent & its $19 for refills. I rent it from a welding supply store. You want co2 not beer mix. It'll cost a little more up front but it's worth it.

Dirtyboy Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2008 #8 Go for it! The answer to your question is that is its worth it if ya have to have extra co2 to grow. Its cheaper and easier to pump some in the room.

McLovin420 Well-Known Member Jul 9, 2008 #10 I am McLovin. I don't use anything to measure my ppm. I used an online calculator to calculate the release rate for 1800ppm. LINK.
