You CAN... however it won't be worth it. The clones share the same genetically dictated flowering time as the mother. By the time the mother is old enough for clones, she'll be close to flowering. Clones need time to root and resume growth speed. I'm not saying you couldn't get anything off of it, however IMO it wouldn't be worf it.

^exactly. Your clones will be the same age as the mother therefore will flower very small. Possible? Yes. Worth it? Not in my opinion.

have done it, rather skip the experiment. Depending on how fast you can get the clone to take off, got like 1g of a clone...

Not worth it. For all the reasons given. Whereas a photo clone will keep vegging under a long light period the Auto clone will flower at the same time as the mother plant. You will have a mini bud, butter may have been optimistic at a gram.
If you wish to continue growing that strain without the expense of purchasing seed, you can isolate a fem plant and spray with colloidal silver before she flowers. She'll herm and all the seed she produces will be female. Or you can buy regular non fem auto seed and breed your own seed.

Really interesting piece of advice thanks man...guess on my next run of autos ill have to invest in some more seeds...ive monster cropped my increadable bulk so hopefully ill be able to keep that strain going without buying more seeds....peace man thanks for the advice...

Get some STS and make seeds. It's your only option with autos.
Best thing for you to do is make your own feminized seeds, a lot easier theses days with the new sprays that are now out. If you try to take cutting you are going to have to put them on at least 20 to 24 hrs fluorescent light right away, then when you see roots max it out . to get the growth. ,

Autos are like flowers that you'd have in the garden to look at. There are some who have great success with them but for me I popped two autos and one is scraggly as fuck, the nugs are smaller than the smallest ones on my regular plants. I mean seriously wtf, then I have another one which is like a miniature christmas tree. Neither one of them are worth 5 bucks imo

So if you use the seed spray will you end up having feminized auto seeds or just feminized seeds?
