Is It Too Late To Use Tirecias' Mist If Buds Are Present?

Fellow potheads, most of my plants look like this or are much bigger. This a cloned Black Russian indica in a one gallon. Is it too late to get some male pollen from her now that she is full of buds. The Tirecias Mist instructions say to start spraying before the plant shows its sex. I figure the plants have about 30-45 days left minimum. A crowded grow tent is full of Black Russians and Maui Waui females. Should I do the same to a Maui Waui female to get those specific seeds? Need a lot of help. Sorry for last minute question and sideways pictures. Love you all!

Never heard of that stuff? You wanting to make fem seeds? If so yeah its to late to start that now
I bought it on ebay. I have the .999 silver to make colloidal silver. I also bought some colloidal silver nasal spray 50 PPM for immune support from a local health food store. I have some younger plants but they are really small. The goal is to make some fem seeds and play johnny appleseed closer to home.

no its not too late... but i wouldnt cause you shouldn't smoke the end product. you could try to stress force some male flowers, or cut a late clone and continue to flower it and spray it, but that can be difficult.

I disagree completely with poly as with my fem trials and expirence I have found you must start before the actual flowering starts as it takes time to force the plant to produce both and being as far into flower as you are it would take 2-3 week treating the sites to get them to start to get pollen sac and by then your done with your flowering time and you would still then need time to dust the female flowers , allow pollination time, allow formation and seed maturity time meaning youd be closer to 12 weeks flowering time so it may be physically possible but definatly not likly and not with the best result at all. I have always used known fem clones and after they root I give them one week to veg then select 2 branches to start misting, I now prefer something like this http://www.amazon.com/Tiresias-Mist-1-Fl-Oz/dp/B008OAI6OA/ref=pd_sim_lg_1 as it works faster and is more reliable then the colloidal silver methods.

PS I forgot the name as I have been trying a few lately but thats the one you said you had so yes I have used that one for some reason I was thinking of 2 others I used recently but thats a good one to use.

I have three smaller clones but they came from a blooming plant and they have been under continuous CFL and direct sunlight. Is a plant like that harder to force male than a clone from a vegging plant? They are in one gallon pots but are still recovering from transplant and inferior soil mix. I think there will be three for sure. Genetically they are the same age as their mother plant. To spray one or not -- and use the other two females to pollinate?

actually your agreeing with me, but you simply stated the challenges that occur from starting late.

and the chemical your talking about is STS(silver thiosulfate)

Just keep a mother even if you do make the feminized seeds they won't all have the specific traits your looking for. I find it much easier and u save time I hate waiting for those fuckers to mature.

Be of independent thought and do what you wish. I started tiresias 2 weeks into flower as it was a rough winter, I couldn't put in flower while the state had no electricity... I have been doing it now for 2 weeks, and may stop here. I see large female calyx's forming under a few flowers.
If I don't try, how do I learn? In an arena where everyone is an expert in their own mind, I have had great success with my independent self and a good coach. Opinions here are just that. I take what I need, and leave the rest.

In short, yes its too late.figure it takes nearly 2 weeks before male flowers START forming then approximately 6 weeks to finish. You could still make it work, true, however you will have harvested the rest of the plant and then need to nurse her for weeks to harvest viable seed. Honestly do what you like but this is my experience as apposed to theory.

Peace
