Hi guys.

Please help! Stressing a bit.

I smoke tobacco and being my first grow, I’m learning the hard way. Well if you guys can advise if I should continue growing I’ll be stoked that it’s just over stressing here and not my girls infected.

Three seeds all planted at the same time. The one had its shell over it for about 3 days on the stem. Number two has its root growing underneath it’s self and the third I can’t tell if there are issues. Please have a look at the pic also I think them stem on all look purple to me, even under natural light. send your help and good vibes my way please and thank you.

That looks like soil has nutes in. Did u use soil with fertilizer/nutes or a peat base soil/dirtless ; ie sunshine, “Promix” etc...

Hi hibok.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and reply.
I did put like a drop of floragrow when they just shot up but the past few days only kelppak. I know stupid of me. I hope that’s the case and I can fix it rather than me have infected these beauties.

Just let the soil dry out a bit. And when the soil is just the right dryness(not to dry) using plain water and ph to 6.5-7.0, if those are the styrofoam white cup I just give it only 35-50ml. Should take about 2-3days to dry . If shorter than up the water measurement to 75-100ml . If longer then 3 days reduce it .

Where’s the photo of the burnt curly one?
That’s the girl that has her shell cover over her still when she was up right already. Like the shel was glued to the tips of the two main leaves. So it’s looks like it’s still a piece of the shell I think.

Sorry the first pic. The one with the most deformed look. I’ll take another pic if you need.

they look like they will be alright just dont give them any more nutreints they do not need them at all. The cotyledons will provide them with all the food they need just give them water and make sure your letting the soil dry out between waterings. Also raise your light a little bit.

Has TMV ever been seen to affect marijuana, for I was under the impression that it hadn't been proven that it could infect weed?

And can TMV be transferred from dried tobacco?

Great questions. In my reads this morning I to have heard many say there havent been reports. But then you see pics online. Well one of many very interesting topics.

Anyone one with further info to my sprouts or the topic would be cool.

Thanks guys.

It effects all plants in the Solanaceae family.....Tobacco, tomato, tomatillos, goji, potato. All nightshades.
(Side note. Don't ever get poisoned by solanine, I speak from experience with the toxin. Never will a dream of a potato be so scary and hallucinations of potatoes hunting you when you wake so real. Don't turn your back on them! They are not trustworthy)

Cannabis however is in the Cannabacaeae family along with hops.

I think you are good but your pH may be a bit off and twisting the leaves a bit unless it is genetic. Either way it will push through.

You see pics CLAIMING to be something, but in reality could be, and likely is, something else, it's one of these times when Google can be a hindrance rather than a help.
