well i live in illinois USA and was wondering if it is to late to grow marijuana outdoors and if not what kind of yield am i looking at?

Way, way too late. You're crops would need to be coming up next month or the month after.

just wait till next year....
and while you are waiting try and read a lot so it will help you in your grow

Wait till next year bro. If you plant now, plant will want to flower before it is mature enough. You will get nothing.

hell ya way up there it is....its prolly cold already...but people in florida can grow year round

Way too late bro I'm HARVESTING my outdoor crop this week
