I'm going to buy a clone in the next couple of days for the medical marijuana shop. Is it too late to plant them outside I live right by the beach and the weather is cold in the afternoon and sometimes gets really hot and windy and sometimes humid. Should I buy a clone and leave it outside or is a waste of time?? Also what would be better a sativa or indica plant? Ive never grown before, do I buy a female or male also please give me instructions if I do? How long should I leave the clone in a cup before I pot it to a big pot? My last plant came out like shit its only 9 inches tall and I've had it for like 3months. Please give honest answers:cool:

Hey man. It's awesome seeing people so eager. But if I were you, I would do some more research. As if you were preparing for a big test at the end of the year on growing MJ. If you must ask if you should be buying male or female clone, then you may not be ready..

you can get your clone and be sure to harden off your clone before leaving it in direct sun light. you can start during flowering season if you want, only problem is you wont yield as much as others who had more/any veg time.

no problem. I would wait until Saturday, the longest day of the year, to go outside permanently, slowly introduce it to full sun the first two to three days.. That way days are getting shorter, not longer then shorter. Get a fem hybred sativa/indica. Stay away from a short, chunky indica if you are worried about humidity. Your going to repot anyway, so do it immediately. Get good fert and soil, ff ocean grow or sunshine #4 soil, and you are better off with too little fert than too much, most issues are deficiencies in other things than npk . Check to be sure your water is 6.0 - 6.5 ph at a pool place. Over 6.8 or under 5.5 will give nute absorption issues. And, most importantly (besides closed lips!) print a couple color leaf issue guides from this site, and make them your bible! Your leaves will tell you what your plant wants. You need to make her happy before flower kicks in, which is third to fourth week of July outside for most. Good luck!

Lol. Google is the revealer of truth bro.

Someone already mentioned that you should immediately repot.

The pot should be as big as you can possibly manage. No use in doing multiple transplants this late.

As for your clone you can't just change it, that's how it grew. Did you not top itor atleast attempt to? I think I remember that thread.

That's why it's short.

But you didn't research about topping at all before you did it did you?

Before you get this clone, use that magnificent human brain that were all gifted with and research whether Google or wikipedia or even search the engine on roll it up.

It's time to start over from scratch, your plant is producing flowers, and once it starts producing flowers it will quit growing. You need to do some more research into the basics of growing cannabis

Cannabis is time sensitize, if you don't even know when you started flowering, or let alone what strain it's def time to start over
A flowering cannabis plant with strong genetics, if given less than 12 hours of darkness in its regular photoperiod will revert back to vegetative growth. It takes WEEKS but it will happen. But seriously, for your own sake:arrow: pick up a book! ;-)

The only one who needs to read a book is you
I've seen what you've grown and it's not something to brag about
