k so my plant is a little over 4 weeks old and i want to concentrate growth into the lower branches so they can grow out and i can take bigger clones. would now be the best time to do that so that the branches have time to grow? i have been told not to take cuttings untill after the first week of flowering, so i need to make sure they have enough time. thats about 5 more weeks.

heres a few pictures of my plant.

.

Take your clones before you start to flower.. if you want the side branchs to grow faster just carefully pull the top of the plant down and tie or pin it , then the side shoots will all bolt for top dog position

yea what camsocool said

take clones atleast a week b4 flowering and flush the day before to reduce nitrogen a lil so they will root easier then start with bloom nutes next watering then the plant has a week to recover from being cut, the cuttings will root nicely 7-10 by the time the plant sexs , and the plant will sex sooner without a n buildup in the soilprolly like a week after 12\12. this is what i would do, dnt take clones over a week past switching to 12\12 is prolly what you heard they get a lil harder to root when flowering but will.
