Is it time to harvest?!?

Had a small plant growing in the window for a few months now she's only small but is my first successful plant. I've had a few other attempts past years but had no luck in the northern climate outdoors, hence why I did indoors this time.

Now in flower and very close to harvest but not sure exactly when would be the best time. I would like to get the most from my plant because I don't have much money as I have no job and am in the process of doing exams.

Most of the stigmas have turned orange now but not sure whether I should harvest now or if it's best to leave a bit longer as the ones on a few of the smaller buds are still white.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated and if there is anything else you need to know feel free to ask

After years of eyeballing when, I finally broke down and bought a $20 handheld microscope. I suggest you do the same

Looks like at least 2 more weeks, maybe 3

Any clue on sativa/Indica? seems to be a sativa dominant but not sure because it was just a random seed from a shitty bag.
And surprised me when I found out it was an autoflower aha. Which is what I had used on my previous attempts.

For this size plant I would not cut off a single trichome. Any leaf or "bud" that has trichs on it, leave it and smoke it! I would also let it ripen at least for a few more weeks. Don't worry about the trich color so much. Let that thing get over-ripe and be obvious to you that it is done. There is quite a lot of fresh green material on it. Let it all turn gold. It will put you on your ass, but again, you've got to make the most out of this little plant. It looks great and will surely treat you well!

Is it worth cutting off those little buds or should I not bother?
No. It's too late in the process to benefit, The idea behind cutting small buds is to provide more energy to the bigger buds. which in small plants is highly questionable anyway.

Only way to really see is buy a 40x loop (or close equivalent) and check trichomes for cloudy and amber. I like about 1/4 amber for extra energy, heady, more amber more couchlock and better for pain. Many times I have thought a plant was ready to harvest and trichomes hadn't turned and other times a plant looks like has a long way to go and see amber so only way is with a loop. Otherwise, could be costing yourself potency. Some genetics these days are weird though and have seen much in genetics never saw 20 years ago. Got a Maui at 4 weeks looks like it will be ready in 2 or 3 weeks and 20 years ago Maui would go 12-14 weeks. Have you flushed? The fan leaves (especially lower) should be turning light green as N is used up nearing finish. Nitrates make for bad taste!

No haven't flushed it yet, how long before I cut it should I flush it? Maybe a week?

Also going to do 1 or 2 automazar from dutch passion under a light. What kind of light should I use? Was thinking of using an led light to limit the heat production but not sure what wattage and that to get.

Just need to start getting a consistent grow as I can't hack buying weed anymore. Over here prices are 20 a g or 50 for an eighth if you know someone who doesn't only sell 20 and 40 bags (1 and 2 grams) and for an oz is normally anywhere from 250 for shit and 350 for still shit but a bit better.

The price you pay for an oz you could get a cheap tent setup. Get a cheap 2x2 tent and a small good LED. HLG 100 QB would be my recommendation. If you want the most light for the money get an HPS/MH, 250-600 watt.
