Got a question for anybody with knowledge willing to answer. This is my first grow and I'm growing an Auto that a friend gave me. It's getting kinda bushy and I was wondering if it's safe to trim it down a little bit. Thanks for looking

Nope....leaves equal more solar cells to take it more light energy to fuel mpre bigger flowers. If light doesnt seem to be penetrating enough trying tucking leaves in. Bushy and green is good!

Dunno if I believe in all the solar panel stuff. But I trim and get bigger yields on the plants I trim. Not sure if is trim an auto though. Gave up on autos along time ago.

That's what Ive been doing is just tucking the leaves behind to let the tops out. Thanks for the knowledge.

I get great yields too by trimming barely anything. Autos included. If its not a huge fan leaf over a flower site it stays. Or if a leaf can be tucked away before being cut off I do that first.

I'm gonna try and trim a couple of the big fan Leaves towards the top. I appreciate the feedback

No problem. Like everyone, I aim for big flowers. Light must penetrate as deep into the canopy as possible. However, lots of fan leaves can be bent to the side, bent under, and bent around bud sites....without need to stress the plant. Some will pop back, just retuck them so they stay out of the way. Only cut the ones that are really needed, which for me are very few!
