would it be cool to put my clones under my 1000 watt HPS with my other crops?? i have always just used floresents for clones but have them no more and never put them uned a HPS bulb and really just do not know if it would be safe. i was thinking of just putting them on a stand to put them level with the canopy of the other crops. does anyone knwo if this is cool to do this>?>?

I would keep them far or whatever the height high, of the HPS. But the light schedule has to be kept on a flowering lite schedule(18/6).

clones will only double in height if put under HPS and they survive. They immediately start reacting to the light and start the process of producing flowers. They limit the energy in the development of stem strength, height , internodes, etc.

flowering is 12/12......

to the OP. it should be fine just try not to let the light be too intense. keep them at a safe working distance so they dont get too hot or too much light but enough. the idea of cloning is you want them to have enough light to photosynthesize but not enough to make them concentrate on that rather than creating roots.
